Just as Li Qian and the other two were preparing to pull back a kilometer, a resounding BOOM echoed as the Stone Tower suddenly collapsed.
The Stone Tower, standing over a hundred meters tall, had watched over Luoying City for an unknown number of years. Its internal structure had long since decayed.
Now, the aftershocks from the battle in the Earth Palace at its base had further damaged the structure, making its collapse entirely expected.
"Teacher Liang!" Bai Bingbing cried out in concern when she saw what was happening, knowing her mentor was still fighting inside the Earth Palace.
Li Qian reached out and blocked Bai Bingbing as she tried to lunge forward. "Don't go. Have faith in Teacher Liang and the others. They'll be fine."
With a collapse like that, the entire Stone Tower had turned to rubble in an instant. If this were Earth from his past life, anyone inside would have been long gone.
