While Phoebe Faulkner was still chattering on, Jace Lennox suddenly strode forward, grabbed her by the waist, and pinned her against the wall. Without any warning, he kissed her.
Phoebe's eyes widened, her face instantly flushing bright red.
But a moment later, Jace Lennox released her. He turned, stuffed his hands in his pockets, and went upstairs.
Phoebe, "..."
'Getting forced into a kiss for no reason... Even though I'm grateful to Jace Lennox for his help today, I can't just let this go!'
Phoebe was furious. She wanted to run upstairs and lay down some ground rules with Jace Lennox.
But halfway there, she dejectedly lowered her head and stopped in her tracks.
