Jace Lennox hung up the phone and walked over to Phoebe Faulkner.
Even though she was lying down—the most relaxing position of all—Phoebe Faulkner was still uncontrollably tense. As Jace Lennox approached, she could only swallow repeatedly to calm her nerves and try to relax.
"You want news about your older brother?" Jace Lennox asked.
Hearing this, Phoebe Faulkner's eyes instantly lit up. She struggled, trying to sit up in bed. "You're willing to tell me about my brother? Where is he now? He's not dead, right? He's still alive, isn't he?"
But before she could even sit up, Jace Lennox pressed down on her shoulders, forcing her back onto the bed.
