Fine, let him wash the dishes. But he just had to have a cigarette dangling from his lips, smoking as he washed.
Phoebe Faulkner hated it when Jace Lennox smoked more than anything. Even if the man looked undeniably sexy when he did it, that didn't change her mind one bit.
Her fingers twitched with the urge to go over and snatch the cigarette from his mouth.
But after just two steps, she remembered they were in the middle of a cold war. 'If I meddle with him now, doesn't that prove I've already caved and started talking to him?'
'Nope. Can't do that.'
