Although Phoebe couldn't quite figure out what role Rona Langdon was playing, she still nodded at her. "It's good that the misunderstanding has been cleared up."
"So..." Phoebe took the opportunity to ask, "can my brother and I leave with Finn Vaughn now?"
"Of course, you can." Rona Langdon smiled gently and graciously. "I've already spoken with my brother. You're free to leave whenever you wish. My brother was indeed in the wrong here. If possible, I hope you and your brother will give us a chance to offer a formal apology."
"That's not necessary." Phoebe waved her hand dismissively. "Over the past three days, your brother hasn't mistreated us. Aside from his bad temper, the food and accommodations were excellent. I should be thanking Lord Ronan for his hospitality."
"Then..." Rona Langdon paused for a moment. "Shall I see you out?"
