Jace Lennox gripped his phone, staring grimly into the distance. He was silent for a long time.
After what seemed like an eternity, he finally spoke. "Finn Vaughn, I need you to find someone."
"Yes, Boss."
Over the phone, Jace Lennox told Finn Vaughn who to look for. He also gave instructions on what to say once the person was found. Finally, he ordered Finn to bring the person to Ronan Langdon's place and then call him.
He couldn't make a move himself, because Ronan Langdon was simply a madman.
'If Ronan Langdon finds out I care about that little woman, she'll never be able to come back to me.'
Phoebe Faulkner returned to her room and immediately composed herself. She couldn't let her second brother see her anger. 'His mind isn't what it used to be, but he's still strong. If he knew I was being bullied, he'd probably rush out and try to fight Ronan Langdon.'
