"Hey, Boss, wait, are you going or not? Give me a straight answer!" Dr. Whitecoat yelled into the phone, but the line was already dead. He didn't have the guts to call back a second time, so he just decided to assume Jace Lennox would definitely be there.
Jace Lennox hung up, his eyes growing cold.
'Phoebe Faulkner agreed?'
'Is that girl really this dumb, or is she faking it? Or is she doing this deliberately?'
