Phoebe listened to the automated voice on the other end of the line: "The number you have dialed is currently unavailable." She was at a loss for words.

She was truly exasperated.

Whenever she had a free moment, she would call Dr. Whitecoat behind Jace's back. It didn't matter if he didn't pick up once, twice, or even three times. She called whenever she could. By the third day, Dr. Whitecoat had finally reached his breaking point.
"What the hell do you want?!" Dr. Whitecoat roared into the phone.
"Dr. Whitecoat, please don't misunderstand. I don't want anything. I just wanted to apologize for what happened the other day. Jace is getting out of the hospital in a few days, and we'd like to treat you to a meal to clear up this misunderstanding."
