"Just pack today. I'll take you tomorrow." This was Henry Lester's final concession. It was clear the little one had grown wary and tense around him these past few days. That night, he truly had lost control.
"Henry Lester, you don't have to." Yara Quillan blurted out her refusal almost the second he finished stating his decision.
Henry Lester looked up at her. Her heart skipped a beat under his gaze, and she said, flustered, "I already called Morgan. She's coming this afternoon to help me with my things."

Henry Lester suddenly stood up. Yara Quillan startled, her gaze following him as he rose. But she only saw him take the bowl from in front of her, refill it with rice, and say with his back turned, "Come back and visit when you have time."
