Evelyn Grant felt a little uneasy.
She sipped her porridge timidly, her eyes glancing toward Preston Keaton from time to time, sizing him up.
'For some strange reason, she felt like he was fattening her up just so he could devour her again with a clear conscience.'
A sense of dread hung over her, and she shook her head in a panic. "I don't want any more."
Preston Keaton was exceedingly patient. "Have some more."
He said gently, "So you don't get halfway through and start whimpering that you can't go on."
Evelyn Grant froze.
'He really was up to no good! No wonder he had protection ready.'
But his next words terrified her even more.
"I'm free for the next two days."
Evelyn Grant knew full well that he had still been unsatisfied, even by morning.
