Evelyn Grant had learned from Liam Aldrin that when a friend gives you a gift, you have to make sure they feel appreciated.
She happily clung to Yara Summers's arm, gushing for a good while about how much she loved the gift and how lucky she was to have such a wonderful friend.
It brought a smile to Yara's face that she couldn't suppress.
"Heh, as long as you know how great I am."
"You're such a sweet-talker. What else do you want? I'll buy it all for you!"
"Want another bag? I saw one that would look great on you, too."
She looked ready to buy out the entire store for her.
Content, Evelyn Grant smiled and shook her head, patting the new bag on her shoulder. "This one is more than enough for me."
Yara squeezed her hand. "You're too easily satisfied."
As the two of them were laughing, they noticed a pair of women walking toward them, followed by three or four people carrying shopping bags.
