His words sent a wave of warmth through Evelyn Grant's chest.
She took a moment to reply, and Preston Keaton clearly frowned. "You still haven't answered me. Yes or no?"
Evelyn Grant raised her hand, her voice muffled. "I didn't take it off."

Preston Keaton's lips curved into a low chuckle. He tightened his arms around her and placed a gentle kiss on the crown of her head. "Mm."
They slept soundly until the next morning.
