"Man, someone save me from these maids! They're playing with me like I'm some kind of wind-up toy!"
I was just thinking this when I felt something strange. Suddenly, cutting through the sweet fragrance of the maids, a foul smell erupted and filled the entire royal palace. My heart sank—No! Not now! I realized with utter horror that I had just soiled my diaper.
The maids froze for a moment. They immediately carried me over to my Royal Crib and laid me down. But instead of staying close, they quickly backed away, keeping a good distance from me. They formed a wide circle from afar, whispering and giggling amongst themselves while pointing at the crib. I wanted to hide my face in the sheets out of pure shame, but I couldn't even manage that. Finally, they all ganged up and pushed one poor, reluctant maid toward me.
She looked at the other maids first, then at me. Our eyes met, and I turned beet-red again. She let out a heavy sigh and, without saying a word, quickly changed my diaper. As soon as she stepped back, the other maids swarmed around me again, while the girl who had cleaned me up gave them all a death stare.
"It's time for the Little Lord's bath!" one of the maids chirped with a smile.
Seeing that smile, I knew exactly what was in store for me. We arrived at a bathroom that was seven times larger than my entire old house! There was a bathtub as big as a swimming pool, and the water was pouring out from a Red Dragon Statue that looked incredibly realistic. The fragrance in the air was so divine it could entrance anyone.
But as they started bathing me, I stood there like a helpless little creature. My face wasn't quite crying, but it wasn't happy either—it was just pure despair. I closed my eyes tight as they took turns washing me. They were cooing, "Our Little Lord is so handsome! When he grows up, how many girls is he going to trap in his web of love?" They were all laughing as they said it, and I just kept my eyes shut, listening to their talk and feeling profoundly embarrassed inside.
After the bath, I was tucked into a maid's lap. They brought out an absolute mountain of royal food—[Dish 1], [Dish 2], [Dish 3], and so on. Are they crazy? Is this their first time raising a baby? I wondered, staring at the heavy meals. They were just about to feed me when the Mistress arrived with her personal maid.
"What are you feeding him?!" she scolded, though her anger was filled with the kind of love an older sister has for her siblings. "He can't eat all this yet; he needs milk."
I felt a sense of relief. In my opinion, mother's milk is the best for any newborn, right? But then, I immediately reconsidered—Well, actually, it's a good thing I'm getting it from a bottle; at least this is a little less embarrassing. I was blushing even as I drank the milk.
Days passed. After seven days, I finally understood everything that was going on. This beautiful lady is my mother [Mother's Name], and that energetic man is my father [Father's Name], whom I haven't seen since that first day. Then the scene shifts to my father—he was sitting on a horse, crying and saying, "I wanted to play with my son! Why did I have to come here?!"
There are a total of 20 maids here. Five are specifically for me, but for some reason, 12 of them are always hovering around me. I wonder if they're just trying to slack off from work? My mother is doing better now; I guess I gave her a lot of pain when I was born.
It's clear that I've been reincarnated, but to be reincarnated, you have to die first. So, the biggest question is—How did I die? Did I fall off the bed in a deep sleep like Nobita and hit my head? I already had a few injuries before I went to sleep. Or did that old ceiling fan finally fall on me? I always suspected it would fall one day, and look, it finally did! Or did a meteor fall from the sky directly onto my house? Or maybe a fly flew into my mouth while I was snoring, and I fell out of the window while coughing? Or did a snake crawl into my room and bite me? Or was a sniper aiming at someone else and missed, hitting me instead? Whatever the cause, one truth was bitter—I would never see my real mom, my friends, or Anya again. Anya's face appears in my dreams. She loved children... I wish she could see me like this; she would definitely give me a hug.
"Goodbye, my friends. Goodbye, my dear Mom. My new life is starting now, and this time, I won't let it go to waste."
Suddenly, the clear weather was replaced by thick black clouds, and it started to rain. When the cold breeze coming from the window touched my skin, the freshness was mesmerizing. A maid carried me over to the window. The view was truly beautiful—fields stretching as far as the eye could see, the wind swaying the crops, and the light rain... a sight I had never seen before.
Then I saw a maid who had run out to take down the laundry. Just as the elders say, you shouldn't run in the rain; she made that exact mistake. She slipped badly and fell into the mud, her face getting covered in it.
Seeing her like that, everyone started laughing, and I couldn't hold back my laughter either. She pushed herself up on all fours and looked back at us. Seeing her mud-streaked face and that look of helplessness made me laugh even harder—so much that my stomach started to hurt. When she realized I was watching her, I turned red with embarrassment again.
A little while later, the sky cleared up and a beautiful Rainbow appeared. I could see all seven colors sparkling in my eyes. I felt a bit sorry for that girl—poor thing fell in the mud, and the rain stopped after only five minutes anyway.
Night fell, and my mother laid me down beside her, telling me a story I had never heard before. Yet, somehow, I felt like I recognized it. Slowly, my eyelids grew heavy, I began to drift into a deep sleep, and my eyes closed... and then, a familiar voice echoed. My eyes slowly fluttered open, and I saw something that I felt like I had seen once before.
