Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 Already Broken

Time flew by very fast.

Before they knew it, the day of the great peace treaty had finally arrived.

Because Kuoh town was protected by Elias and had a strong magical barrier, the leaders decided to use Kuoh Academy as the official place for the big conference.

The school was closed for the day.

Elias, Dee, Rias, and the rest of the family stood near the front gates to welcome the important guests.

A bright flash of golden magic lit up the courtyard.

When the light faded, a stunning woman with nine golden tails stepped out.

She was wearing a beautiful, formal kimono. It was Yasaka.

"Mother!"

Kunou cheered happily. She ran as fast as she could and jumped right into Yasaka's open arms.

"Oh, my sweet Kunou!"

Yasaka laughed, hugging her daughter tightly and kissing her cheek.

Rias walked forward and gave a deep, respectful bow.

"Welcome to Kuoh Academy, Lady Yasaka,"

Rias said politely.

"We are incredibly honored to have you here. But... I must admit, I am very surprised to see you in person."

Yasaka stood up and smiled curiously.

"Surprised? Why is that, Rias?"

"Well,"

Rias explained gently.

"I heard that the Yokai leader is strictly tied to the Kyoto Leyline. You have to use your own body to power the magic of the land. I thought you were stuck inside Kyoto and could never leave."

Yasaka's smile grew even wider.

She looked past Rias and looked directly at the pale girl standing next to Elias.

"You are right. That used to be true,"

Yasaka said softly, her voice full of deep emotion.

"For hundreds of years, I was tied to the city. It was like a heavy shackle around my ankle. I loved my home, but I was completely trapped. But… Lady Dee changed everything."

Rias blinked in surprise and looked at Dee.

"Dee did?"

Rias asked.

Dee just giggled and casually kicked a small pebble with her shoe.

"I just helped out a little bit before we came back home,"

Dee smiled innocently.

"It was not a little bit,"

Yasaka said, shaking her head. Her eyes were filled with absolute awe and gratitude.

"Before she left, Lady Dee touched the ground and poured her own pure magic directly into the Leyline. Her power is so massive and endless that it completely filled the entire land of Kyoto. I don't have to power it with my own body anymore. I am finally free."

Elias looked at his girlfriend, feeling very proud of her kind heart.

"That was very nice of you, Dee,"

Elias smiled.

"How long will your magic power the city?"

Dee tilted her head and tapped her chin, pretending to think about it.

"Hmm... forever,"

Dee answered casually, as if she was talking about the weather.

"The power will remain there for all of eternity. Well, unless I decide to go back and take it away. But I won't do that."

Dee walked over and gently poked Kunou's nose, making the little fox giggle.

"A mother shouldn't be locked in a cage,"

Dee said, her dark eyes looking up at Yasaka with genuine warmth.

"She should be free to travel, attend peace treaties, and visit her daughter at school whenever she wants."

Yasaka placed a hand over her heart and bowed deeply to the pale Goddess.

"I can never repay you for this gift,"

Yasaka whispered, wiping a small, happy tear from her eye.

"You gave me my freedom."

Yasaka smiled warmly and continued talking with Dee.

They chatted happily about Kunou and the future of the Yokai.

"I will make sure Shinto faction is always a friend to your family,"

Yasaka promised.

"Just bring us good snacks when you visit,"

Dee giggled happily.

Their quiet conversation was soon interrupted.

Three massive magic circles suddenly appeared in the courtyard.

The bright colors lit up the entire school.

From the glowing crimson circle, three important Devils stepped out.

It was Sirzechs Lucifer, the cheerful Serafall Leviathan, and the perfectly polite maid, Grayfia.

"Hello, everyone!"

Serafall cheered, waving her magic wand happily.

"It is so wonderful to see you all!"

"Thank you for hosting this peace treaty for, Elias,"

Sirzechs said with a polite, respectful nod.

Before Elias could reply, a dark, shadowy circle flashed next to them.

Azazel, the leader of the Fallen Angels, stepped out with a lazy smile.

Right behind him was Baraqiel.

"Looks like the big party is finally starting,"

Azazel chuckled, resting his hands in his pockets.

"I hope the snacks are good."

Finally, a bright, blinding holy light filled the area.

Michael, the leader of the Angels, and his beautiful sister Gabriel stepped down from the light.

Walking right behind them was a young girl with brown twintails and bright, pure white angel wings on her back. It was Irina.

Xenovia's eyes went completely wide.

She took a step forward in pure shock.

"Irina?"

Xenovia gasped.

"You... you have wings. You became an Angel?"

Irina smiled brightly and ran over to her old friend.

"Yes, Xenovia!"

Irina said happily, showing off her soft white wings.

"Lord Michael gave me a new life. I am an Angel now! But what about you?"

Irina looked closely at Xenovia. She knew Xenovia had left the church, but she felt something different about her.

"I heard you didn't become a Devil in Rias's peerage,"

Irina said, tilting her head.

"But your energy feels incredibly strong. You don't feel like a normal human anymore."

Xenovia smiled a small, proud smile.

She crossed her arms.

"I am not a Devil,"

Xenovia answered.

"And I am definitely not a normal human anymore."

Dee giggled softly from Elias's side.

"I made sure of that,"

Dee said with a proud little smirk.

Everyone looked at the pale Goddess.

Elias let out a soft sigh, but he had a very warm, loving smile on his face.

"It was Dee's idea,"

Elias explained gently to the group.

"A little while ago, Dee asked me to give a drop of my blood to everyone in our family."

Sirzechs looked highly intrigued.

"Your blood, Elias? What does it do?"

"It changes them,"

Elias answered calmly.

"It gives them partial immortality. They will live a very, very long time, and their bodies are much tougher now."

Xenovia looked at her own hands, her eyes shining with absolute confidence.

"But that is not all,"

Xenovia added smoothly.

"His blood also gave us a tiny piece of his Adaptivity power."

Azazel raised an eyebrow, looking completely shocked.

The story about Elias and the multiverse already in the comic.

There was no need to hide anymore.

"Wait. You all have his broken adapting power now?"

"Not exactly,"

Elias chuckled, shaking his head.

"It is not broken like mine. I can master and adapt to anything instantly. For them, it just acts as extreme talent. Whatever they try to learn—sword fighting, magic, or studying—they will learn it incredibly fast. Their bodies adapt quickly to hard work."

Irina looked at Xenovia with wide, amazed eyes.

"Wow,"

Irina whispered.

"So you are going to become a super warrior, Xenovia?"

"I am already getting stronger every single day,"

Xenovia smiled, looking back at Elias with deep respect.

"Thanks to our family."

Michael stood quietly to the side.

He felt a little bit left out of the exciting conversation, but he just smiled calmly.

As a peaceful Angel, he didn't mind at all.

He was just happy that everyone was talking without fighting.

On the other hand, his beautiful sister Gabriel wasn't looking at Elias.

She was glaring right at Serafall.

Serafall stopped smiling and glared right back.

A bright, imaginary spark of electricity flashed between their eyes.

They had fought fiercely against each other in the ancient Great War, and they had been massive rivals ever since.

Serafall huffed and crossed her arms, turning her attention back to Elias.

She had a very important thought.

"But wait, Elias-chan,"

Serafall said, her voice turning serious.

"Your blood is incredibly powerful. What if a bad guy tries to steal it? What if they take your blood and try to drink it or inject it to make themselves super strong?"

Elias didn't look worried at all. He answered her easily.

"They would die very quickly,"

Elias said calmly.

"My genetics are extremely aggressive. It is my body's natural defense mechanism. I gave my blood to my family safely because I wanted to. But if an enemy steals my blood and puts it inside their own body, my blood will instantly attack them as a virus. It will eat them from the inside out."

Azazel raised his eyebrows.

"Can't they just use strong healing magic or an antidote to stop it?"

Azazel asked.

"No,"

Elias shook his head simply.

"My blood also has my Adaptivity power. If they try to use magic or medicine to fight my blood, my blood will just adapt to the medicine. It will keep adapting until the enemy is gone. Absolutely nothing can stop it."

The courtyard went completely quiet.

That was a terrifying thought.

But then, Dee clapped her pale hands together.

Her dark eyes sparkled with a fun, dangerous idea.

"Wow,"

Dee giggled happily, looking up at her boyfriend.

"If your blood is that deadly to bad guys, why don't you just use it as a weapon? You could just put a drop of your blood on an enemy and instantly win the fight!"

Elias blinked.

He raised his hand and rubbed his chin.

He seriously thought about her idea.

"Hmm,"

Elias murmured quietly.

"That is actually a really good idea, Dee. I never thought about doing that. It would save a lot of time."

A heavy, cold silence fell over all the faction leaders.

Sirzechs, Azazel, and Michael all looked at each other.

A deep feeling of pure dread washed over them.

Elias was already unbelievably strong.

He was immortal, he had the Dragon King's strength, and he could instantly master any fighting style just by looking at it.

If he actually started using his own adapting, flesh-eating blood as a weapon... he would be completely, unfairly broken.

Azazel let out a nervous laugh and wiped a drop of cold sweat from his forehead.

"Please, Lady Dee,"

Azazel pleaded weakly.

"He is already scary enough. Please don't give him any more dangerous ideas."
