Julian Ford's gaze swept over her face before he suddenly asked, "Cece, are you a superpower user?"
Josie Quinn's smile froze on her face. 'How did he guess so quickly?'
Seeing her expression, Julian Ford chuckled. "I watched you grow up. Even though you've deliberately avoided contacting me these past few years, some little habits are hard to change."
"Does that mean I have no privacy around you? That you know what I'm thinking with just one look?"
Julian Ford shook his head with a wry smile. "Is that so? But I can only see a part of it."
"A part?" Josie Quinn asked, curious.
"Mhm," he said, the eyes behind his glasses staring right at her. "For example, I can't guess the reason you're deliberately distancing yourself from me now."
