Cole immediately raised his hand. "Stay put. I'll go check."
With Cole around, Josie Quinn wasn't the least bit flustered. After finishing the broth in her bowl, she took it to the kitchen to wash.
When she came back out after washing it, she found Cole still standing by the door.
Josie Quinn walked slowly toward him, wrapped her arms around his waist from behind, and peeked out to ask, "What's the situation outside?"
Cole instinctively covered her clasped hands on his abdomen and said in a low voice, "Not zombies. I think it's people."
'It's normal for it to be people. Cole lives in this building, and he already cleared out all the zombies.'
'Any superpower user looking for a place to stay nearby would definitely notice this building.'
Josie Quinn pulled his hand toward the sofa. "I saw you have a solar charger. Does that mean we can watch a movie?"
"You want to?" Cole asked with a smile.
