Josie Quinn chuckled and tapped her on the forehead. "You little kid, teasing me now?"
"I just think that since Felix is so powerful and drop-dead gorgeous, only you are a match for him."
The two of them were an even better match than the hottest couples from the TV shows she'd watched before the apocalypse.
"Cece, you have no idea. Back at my grandma's, so many of the girls had a crush on Felix. Every time he came back, they'd get all dressed up to bring him gifts, but Felix would always be so stone-faced he'd scare them off."
Jane Alden was so engrossed in her story that she didn't even notice the person in front of her had already finished their laundry.
"Okay, okay, I get it. Your Felix is the most popular guy around. But if you don't move forward, someone's going to beat you to that spot."
