While Lucas Lockwood was busy, Josie Quinn didn't rest. She continued to train outside with Jude Sheffield.
After she and Jude Sheffield parted ways and she returned to her apartment building, she found Lucas Lockwood standing downstairs. It seemed he had been waiting for some time.
"How long have you been waiting? Did you need something?"
Lucas Lockwood walked up to her. "I just came to let you know that I've handled things on my end. We'll set off tomorrow morning. Does that work for you?"
"Yes." 'For her, improving her strength was the top priority.'
But after she spoke, she noticed Lucas Lockwood just stood there, showing no intention of leaving.
She raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "Is there anything else?"
Under the moonlight, the woman's beautiful features seemed to be veiled by a soft filter. Even stained with blood, she was breathtakingly beautiful.
He shook his head with a smile. "No, nothing. I'll head back after I see you inside."
