It was already late. The night wind made the alcohol go to her head, so Faye Yardley simply turned around, went back to her room, and fell asleep.
No matter how late she went to bed, her internal clock always woke her at 4 AM sharp.
She followed her usual routine: stretching, a session in the training room, a shower, and then practicing the Health Care Scripture. By the time she finished the entire sequence, it was already 8 AM on the dot.
"Faye, you must be starving. Hurry and eat breakfast."
"Mm. Is it really going to cool down today? Look at those dark, heavy clouds. It looks like it's about to rain any second."
Faye Yardley went ahead and opened the main door to look at the sky. Sure enough, it was completely overcast. The sunlight couldn't pierce through the thick clouds, making everything look dark and gloomy.
'It looked like this when I came out of the training room. How is it still the same almost an hour later? Does it really take this long for the rain to build up?'
