What he was really saying was that Caeluna Base, in its current state, was still inferior to his Sanctyr Base.
Even his claim that Caeluna Base would one day surpass Sanctyr Base was merely to flatter Quinn; in his heart, he didn't believe it at all.
In his eyes, Sanctyr Base had immense potential. He believed that with him at the helm, it wouldn't be outdone by any other.
Even though he held Stella Sterling in high regard, he didn't believe she could truly surpass him.
He said aloud, "I'm truly curious just how powerful Miss Sterling's Caeluna Base is. Of course, I'm even more curious how you managed to establish such a base in such a short time."
He spoke in a tone that was half-joking, half-probing.
