Just as several Fire Ability Users approached the plant vines, his lightning net materialized to block their path, cutting off any hope of reinforcement.
"I'm telling you, Lex Cross, you brat! Now that you have a wife, you're just going to make life difficult for us old geezers?" Solomon Sterling was at his wit's end. As a superpower user with no offensive abilities, there was nothing he could do.

This was the first time Five and the others had ever seen these usually pretentious elders get taken down a peg, and they couldn't help but laugh.
