In the US, the President's office.
"Who the motherf**ker done this!"
"What the hell were you guys doing! The USA don't raise pigs that can't even protect their nuclear bases' defense system! Fuckers! Answer me!"
The US president is letting out outrage upon a group of people in military uniform.
After some time, the US president calmed down. A member of NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration) seeing the president calm down, started to say "Mr. President, we checked all our defense systems but there was no clue that could be found which determined that it was an outsider's breakdown. But we also confirmed that it was not done by any internal members. So, who ever done this, possesses more advanced technological means than us."
The US president already calmed down, and he started to respond thoughtfully,
"Mr. Will, from what you said it is truly possible but in this world nobody invests in weapon technology as much as us. And nobody should possess this kind of means. Otherwise, if they wanted to today they can just launch the missile at Washington."
"But if your speculation is true then which country poses this threat. Is it Russia? Or is it China? These two currently have the power to contend with us but our weapon technology is slightly more advanced than theirs."
Mr. Will, leader of NNSA again says, "No sir. It may not be them. Because if it were Russia then we wouldn't be alive to discuss now. And if it were China they would just occupy our government to rule the USA. So it's neither of them. It is very likely another country or organisation. But we can't be sure for now."
A military general voices out, " But we have to figure it out. It poses an immense threat to us. And besides, what should we say to the public regarding this matter, everyone in the globe knows it by now."
"What else could we say! We can't just say that our nuclear weapons were hacked and gone out of control!" Another military general barked out.
"We can say that our nuclear weapons were rusting in dust so we just want to test our weapon to see if it is still working. As you guys know this nuclear missile didn't harm any life and it detonated in the open air of the Pacific Ocean. So this excuse is acceptable." The youngest general in the room suggested his opinion.
Everyone in the room slowly nodded their head upon his suggestion.
The Government of the USA still have to hold their pride. They can't just say that they were invaded and their control over a nuclear missile was lost out of blue.
Soon a press conference will be held in the White House.
The US president gave the same excuse that the youngest general suggested.
