Dear readers, did you know that the greatest mysteries unfold at the rhythm of a play, orchestrated by a being who lives through the actions of his characters? In his eyes, life and death are nothing more than some foregone conclusion. What if we dove back, just for a moment, into the perspective of our infamous playwright? Let us make our story a little more thrilling, dear readers.

"Is everything ready ?"
"Yes, everything is set. The meeting has begun and no clan leader suspects a thing. However, the second head of the ALPHA clan is not present on the premises. As for the first, he appears determined to gather information during this meeting."
The scarred henchman stepped toward the small wooden table and placed a black envelope on it.
"This is the report you've been waiting for. All the information on Céline ANGOMA and proof of her involvement in the tragedy three months ago."
"Perfect. Bring Thoras to me."
"Very well."
"Everything is in motion to carry out our plan. I know this isn't your way of doing things, but I guarantee you'll enjoy the show, Leonora."
The door opened on Thoras, who wore his usual satisfied expression. He settled into one of the chairs across the desk, his sly smile firmly in place.
"Tell me, how did the second encounter with Céline ANGOMA go ?"
"Exactly as you planned. By now, her husband must already have serious doubts about her and is investigating the matter in secret. Considering she no longer has a pillar to lean on, the trap is closing around the prey. It's exhilarating. When does the next phase begin ?"
"In one week. The new moon will appear in the sky at midnight precisely and that is when the sacrifice will take place."
"A life for a life. Why go after Céline so relentlessly instead of targeting the real target directly ?" Thoras asked, running a hand through his hair.
"Why destroy a king when you can annihilate him and his kingdom at the same time ? Two birds, one stone," I answered.
"How sadistic. And you ? When do you enter the stage ?" he asked, rising to his feet.
"Much sooner than you think."
"Is the girl on board with the rest of the plan ? That family doesn't exactly inspire trust," he said, his gaze drifting to the envelope on the table.
"She will be even more so with this information and her natural hatred for Céline will make things considerably easier. A pawn I can manipulate as I see fit, among other things."
"If you say so. I'll be on my way, but keep in mind that the ANGOMAs hold grudges, especially their family heads."
He left the room, leaving behind a silence heavy with unspoken implications.
"I can no longer turn back. I must press forward, even if it means destroying lives."
