A few days past quietly.
Ankit's life had started to follow a new routine. Every morning, she practiced English. Every night, she wrote new words and tried to form sentences. It was not perfect. But it was consistent.
And slowly... she was changing .
one afternoon, while sitting alone in her room, she started at her notebook and thought.
"I want to work in the IT field.... but what should I actually learn?"
The question stayed in her mind.
she had heard people talk about coding ,programming, and software many times. But she never really understood what those words meant. They always sounded complicated like something meant only for intelligent people.
A smallfear grew inside her.
"What if I can't do it ?" She whispered.
But this time, she didn't let that thought stop her.
Searching for a Direction
She picked up her phone and type:
"Coding for beginners."
Within seconds, the screen was filled with options. Videos, tutorials, free courses , everything looked overwhelming.
Her eyes moved form on litle to another. Python ,Java ,c++ ,HTML.
so many names, so many choices. She felt confused.
"This is too much..." she said softly.
For a moments, she thought about closing everything and trying later. But then she rememberd her promise.
" I will try. Every day."
Taking a deep breath, she opened one of the beginner videos.
Choosing Python
The video started with a simple introduction.
"Pythony is one of the easiest programming language for beginners ."the instructor explained.
Ankit didn't fully understand what a programming language was.
But the word "easy" gave her little confidence. She decided .
"I will start with python."
It didn't matter if she understood everything.
What mattered was that she had finally chosen a starting point.
The First Lesson
The instructors for claimly, explaining basic concept.
" Programming is giving instructions to a computer."
Ankit listened carefully. Instructions. That sounded simple. But when examples started appearing, her mind struggled to keep up. She pause the video.
Replied it.
Again and again.
She wrote down notes in her notebook, even if she didn't fully understand them.
It felt slow.
But she continued.
Writing Her First Code
Then came the moment that made her nervous.
"Now let's write your fast code." the instructor sad.
Ankit's fingers tightened around her phone. She opened a simple coding app. Her heart was beating faster. The Instructor typed:
Print ("Hello World");
Ankit carefully copied each letter. She changed it twice. Then once again. Her finger hovered over the "Run" button.
"What if it doesn't work ?" She thought.
But she pressed it anyway.
A Moment of Joy
For a second, nothing happened.
Then suddenly-
Hello World
appeared on the screen.
Ankit started at it. Her eyes widened slightly.
"It worked ....."she whispered.
A soft smile appeared on her face. It was such a small thing. Just two words. But for her, it felt like something big. She had written something.....
And the computer had responded. For the first time, coding didn't feel scary. It felt interesting.
Trying Again
Curious, she changed the sentences. She typed:
Print ("my name is Ankit");
And pressed run again. The screen displayed her words perfectly. she felt a small excitement growing inside her.
Again and again ,she tried different sentences. Each time it worked her confidence increased a little.
"Maybe I can really learn this." she thought.
The First Problem
But as the lesson continued things became more difficult.
New concepts appeared.
Variables, Syntax, Errors.
Suddenly, her screen showed a red error message. She frowned.
"What is this?" she said.
She changed her code again. Everything looked correct. But it wasn't working.
Her excitement slowly faded. Frustration took its place.
Doubt Returns
"I knew it.... this is too hard for me." she murmured.
Her mind filled with negative thoughts again.
"You can't do this."
" This is not for you."
Her finger slowly moved towards the close button . For a moment, she was reading to give up.
A Different Decision
But then she stopped.
She remember her promise.
" I will try. Every day."
Taking a deep breath, she looked at the screen again.
"No....I won't quit." she said softly.
She replayed the video carefully. This time, she paid attention to every detail. And then she noticed it- A small mistake. A missing bracket. Her heart beat faster. She quickly corrected it.
And pressed run again.
Quite Victory
This time, it worked.
The output appeared correctly. Ankit looked at the screen silently. Then a small smile appeared. It was not a big achievement. But it was hers. She had made a mistake.
And she had fixed it.
A New confidence
That night,Ankit open her notebook and wrote:
"Today I wrote my first code."
She passed, then added:
" I made mistakes....but I didn't give up."
She read the sentences again. It felt meaningful. This was more than just learning coding. It was learning patience.
End Hook
Ankit hed taken another step forward.
From learning words.....
to writing code.
It wasn't easy.
It wasn't perfect.
But it was real.
And deep inside, a new belief was slowly growing-
That maybe..... she could do this.
But she didn't know yet -
"This was only the beginning.
Because already of her bigger challenges, harder lessons and moments that would tast her strength like never before.
