ELARA'S POV.
My instincts were always right. I should have believed myself when I felt that there was someone behind me.
Whoever he was, he was really good. I had no idea until it was too late. Even when I got the feeling, I deluded myself into thinking I was paranoid.
"Why are you looking at me like you don't know you came with someone else?" The smug look disappeared from her face.
I quickly dragged her to a corner of the shop and pressed my right hand against her shoulder.
"Are you sure I was being followed? It could have been a customer entering the plaza the same time I did."
"Wait, wait, hold on," she cut in, making a shocked expression. "Are you trying to say that you had no idea of the man behind you?"
"What man?" The veins in my neck bulged in frustration.
"The… Italian looking man? He did look a little Swedish, I don't know. He was putting on a ridiculous top hat and the sole of his shoe was a little too high for my taste."
