Ryan would never capture one randomly and let it roam freely. Once he caught a Pokémon, he would raise it with care and treat it as his closest partner.

As soon as Ryan stepped inside, he released his two Pokémon from their Poké Balls.

The two little ones had been cooped up for days during the journey and were clearly restless. The moment they saw their familiar home, they lit up with joy.

Both Pokémon excitedly pointed toward the backyard.

The warm water flowed gently over Ryan's chest like a soothing caress. He leaned back comfortably in the hot spring, enjoying a rare moment of leisure.
Riolu was noticeably more energetic, treating the hot spring like a swimming pool and splashing around energetically. Fortunately, the spring was large enough for the energetic Fighting-type to swim freely.
Ralts, being quieter and more considerate, stood at the edge of the pool. It used its delicate little hands to gently massage Ryan's temples.
While soaking in the relaxing water and enjoying the massage, Ryan quietly planned his next steps.
"Selling those two Seviper skins got me 700,000 League Coins — enough to cover a full month of living expenses."
Seven hundred thousand League Coins for just one month?
An ordinary family might not earn that much even after ten years of hard work. For Ryan, however, it was simply normal monthly expenses.

While regular food could keep a Pokémon fed, Ryan refused to settle for that. Only proper nutrition could give his partners the physical strength and willpower needed for rigorous training.
Feeding and truly nurturing were two very different things.

For Riolu to evolve into Lucario, it needed a high level of friendship and intimacy with its trainer. For Ralts to evolve into Kirlia, it simply needed to reach level 20. Both Pokémon had already met the basic requirements for evolution.
However, Ryan had been deliberately suppressing their evolution. He wanted them to unleash their full potential during the process so their growth afterward would be even more significant.
Now, with enough reward points, he could exchange for the system's Potential Potions, allowing both Pokémon to perfectly release their hidden potential.
"Luca~ Luca~"
Riolu stopped swimming and swam over to Ryan's side, watching him quietly.
"Ralts~ Ralts~"
Ralts also stopped its massage and stood beside him, staring with the same expectant gaze.
Riolu could sense its trainer's thoughts through Aura, while Ralts could keenly pick them up with its psychic abilities. They had both sensed the news about their upcoming evolution and gathered around excitedly.
"Hehe, I know you're both looking forward to it," Ryan said with a warm smile, looking at the two pairs of eager eyes. "Rest well today. I'll help you evolve tomorrow."

The two Pokémon cheered happily and went back to playing in the water. With Ryan around, they didn't need to worry about anything. They simply trusted him completely and followed his lead.
