Chapter 9 - How Can This Witch Be So Evil?!

What did she mean?

Shinta Uchiha stared in shock at Yuki Tsukishiro, who had agreed to settle their transaction with backflips.

No way. Could this naturally evil Yuki be just like him, skilled at backflips?

Shinta Uchiha's incredible intuition blurted out the correct answer, but he quickly dismissed it with common sense and logic.

A final boss is supposed to be mysterious and awe-inspiring, right? How could she have such a ridiculous, silly talent!

So... there was only one answer.

——The reason Yuki Tsukishiro accepted the condition was that his words had sparked a desire to torment him. Like a master to a slave, she saw herself as the master, and his backflip performance as a slave's servitude to his owner.

How evil, Yuki!

As Shinta Uchiha thought this, he endured the intense humiliation, kicked his legs hard, and performed a backflip in place.

"..."

Yuki Tsukishiro tilted her head, unconsciously evaluating the scene before her from a professional standpoint.

The angle was good, the power movements were standard, and the pose was cool, but her expression felt a little off.

Was it because of lack of sleep?

If he was full of energy, he should be able to do it even more brilliantly.

"Ahem, that's the end of it. Our transaction is complete now."

The moment Shinta Uchiha landed, he immediately held out his hand, an urgent look on his face, wanting to tell Yuki that his humiliation was over, and there was no longer any debt of bread between them.

However, what awaited Shinta Uchiha was not freedom, but another loaf of bread.

Huh?

"..."

Yuki Tsukishiro said nothing, just kept smiling, and continued to extend her hand holding the bread toward Shinta Uchiha.

"Do you want me to do another one?"

Shinta Uchiha asked tentatively, sensing that this was what she meant.

Yuki Tsukishiro nodded, her cherry lips parting softly: "Mm."

Shinta Uchiha's eyes went wide on the spot.

No mistake! His guess was right! Yuki was humiliating him like a master to a slave, torturing him in the name of a game. How could she be this evil?!

"Alright, got it."

Having discovered the "truth", Shinta Uchiha silently took the bread, tensed his legs, and with a more serious attitude, did another backflip.

It wasn't that he was cooperating with Yuki, nor that he got excited from this humiliating feeling.

He just thought this wasn't the right time to clash with the final boss. To save this world, a comrade of justice had to endure temporary humiliation. Even a cold, stoic man could bear temporary shame.

"..."

Yuki Tsukishiro watched, completely engrossed.

There were still some imperfections, but... Uchiha-kun wasn't lying. Backflips really were his specialty.

Well then, once his energy recovered, he'd see who could flip better between him and herself.

It turned out that this strange Uchiha classmate, while annoying, wasn't boring to observe.

Yuki Tsukishiro thought this, but she didn't say anything more, just silently swung her slender legs wrapped in white silk and headed home.

"...Huh? That's it? I thought you'd keep toying with me."

"What a shame."

Shinta Uchiha stared at Yuki's back until it disappeared behind the closed door, then patted his chest with a stunned, unsettled expression, letting out a breath of relief.

"Alright."

Shinta Uchiha sighed, then turned and walked away.

Instead of continuing to pretend to admire the scenery and spy on Yuki, he slowly headed home.

This **Otsutsuki**, no, at least for this morning, she didn't plan to do anything bad.

To be in a better state to stop the schemes of this naturally evil **Otsutsuki** tomorrow, he should probably rest himself.

"Then, tomorrow we'll start round two, you naturally evil **Otsutsuki**."

After stepping through the door, Shinta Uchiha covered his right eye, striking a edgy, over-the-top pose as if he was about to activate the **Mangekyō Sharingan**.

I'll keep watching you, Yuki Tsukishiro.

......

[Shinta Uchiha's Diary (DO NOT READ)]

[Yesterday, I met the most evil boss in this world, a **Otsutsuki** going by the name Yuki Tsukishiro.]

[With terrifying wisdom and amazing intuition, I successfully outwitted Yuki Tsukishiro with my intellect, playing her like a fiddle and foiling her grand schemes.]

[You could say this was a complete victory for the Uchiha. The only fly in the ointment was that I was forced to do backflips (BLACKED OUT)... Yuki even ended up having to express her admiration to get me to let her off the hook.]

[She kept doing backflips in front of me dozens of times until she was almost crying, and I only reluctantly let her go out of pity.]

[Although my advantage was overwhelming, I humbly admit that outside of a battle of wits, I'm probably no match for her right now. But this situation won't last long. Once the true power of the Uchiha awakens, I'll definitely have my chance to take her down.]

[...Hmm, speaking of which, if I could awaken the **Mangekyō Sharingan**'s abilities, what kind of power would suit me?]

[From what we know so far, the **Mangekyō Sharingan**'s abilities are tied to the user's state of mind when awakened. The precondition for Amaterasu is witnessing the death of a loved one, wanting to carve the enemy into minced meat.]

[And the precondition for Kamui is the death of a loved one, the desire to create a world without heartache.]

[Too cruel. Maybe not awakening would be better (BLACKED OUT) ... I'm really looking forward to awakening the **Mangekyō Sharingan** and becoming a true top-tier Uchiha high hand one day!]

"..."

Shinta Uchiha put down his pen, tucked his diary in the drawer, and began preparing the things he needed for school.

Even though he was being bullied by the **total dumb goldfish**, clashing with Yuki Tsukishiro, and trying to protect two girls who might have fallen into a trap, he was still quite looking forward to his life from now on.

Shinta Uchiha liked the feeling of going to school.

Maybe it was because before he crossed over, he'd only fully experienced the relatively carefree elementary and middle school, and never got to fully experience the so-called "hell" of senior year three.

But that couldn't be helped.

His dad had sold the family house, racked up a seven-figure debt, and then disappeared without a trace.
