Charlotte stood outside the low gates of the old building with her hands folded in front of her and her eyes on the stone above the entrance. Three guards flanked behind her. A fourth came to the gate from the inside and pulled it open, bowing as she passed. She didn't look at him.
The front doors opened before she reached them. She walked through without slowing and stopped just past the threshold, her eyes lifting to the men already seated around the long table.
"You are here," Radeon said. He pointed at the empty chair across from him.
Charlotte looked at it for a moment, then walked to it and sat down.
"You said there was urgent news."
