"If you're an Alpha then why were they trying to kill you?" Kira asked with a puzzled look on his face.
"That's because only one Alpha can exist at a time. Once another Alpha is born he receives a death order by the existing Alpha. And there's already an Alpha on Aetherion." Yuki replied while looking at the campfire with blank eyes.

"So you are wanted across the continent right now? And you're still staying in Stormguard city after they somehow traced you all the way here." Kira asked with disbelief all over her eyes.
"My father told me to stay here so I'll stay here and I don't think they track me down using the same method before again, if it was that easy they would've swarmed me already." Yuki said.
"You know what? I don't really care but why do I have to bear the burden if you die? How is the whole alpha thing part of my business?" She asked with clenched fist.
"You would have died if I didn't give you the Mate bond and turn you into a warewolf." Yuki said slowly.
Kira remained silent, unable to vent her anger because she knew it was the truth. 'I should have listened to Silas, he's way too grumpy at times but he is right most of at the time.'
"What were you doing yesterday? And why did you call me out?" She asked.
"I went to the city yesterday to do a few things, and I called you out because I'm hungry."
"You're hungry?" Kira asked.
"Yes " Yuki said while nodding his head.
"What does that have to do with me? Go away, go and hunt or something."
"I tried hunting, didn't work, and it has everything to do with you. If I die of hunger you're dying with me." He replied while staring into her eyes.
"Don't you have shame?" Kira asked with an unbelievable look on her face.
"Shame won't feed me" Yuki replied.
Kira watched him for a while then stood up to leave. "I've been out for long enough already, I need to go back and I'm not ready for another scolding session from Silas."
"Who is Silas?" He asked while standing up and trailing behind her.
"My guard..... And why are you following me??" She asked while turning around with an annoyed look.
"I'm hungry"
"Aren't you the Alpha? An Alpha dying of hunger?
Shamelessly begging me for food" she said while rolling her eyes.
"Aren't you my Luna? A Luna letting her Alpha die of hunger?" Yuki replied while staring at her making Kira almost faint from anger.
"Forget it, it's useless trading words with you" she said then continued walking towards the mansion with Yuki behind her.
Getting to the mansion, Kira walked into the reception room and found Silas sitting there while staring at her. "I've been waiting for you lady Kira, where did you go to so late in the night?"
"I.. I went for a stroll" she stuttered while watching behind her but didn't find any trace of Yuki.
'Where is he? I thought he was following me' she thought but decided to forget about it.
"Why do you look so anxious?" Silas asked making her jerk in shock.
"N.. Nothing, I'm just feeling a bit tired that's all" she replied trying to maintain a normal expression.
"I have to say.. you haven't been behaving like yourself lately, and you have to stop going out so late without us, if anything happens to you the lives of everyone in this mansion is at stake. Please don't make things harder for us Lady Kira." Silas said while walking over to her.
"Who's making things hard for you?" She said then turned towards her room leaving Silas behind.
"Don't come to my room or disturb me, I need to have some rest." She said while closing the door behind her then jumping towards her bed.
"What's going on with my life Kira!"
"Where do I find food?" A voice suddenly came from the window making Kira almost fall off in shock.
"You!! Where did you come from??" She said while pointing towards Yuki who was already in her room.
"What does it look like, I climbed the window." Yuki replied while tilting his head with a puzzled look on his face.
"No not that, I mean how did you avoid Silas sensor range?" Kira asked.
"Oh that.. was pretty easy, I might not be the strongest out here but I'm still an Alpha after all." He said with a smug look on his face.
"An alpha who got bundled up just yesterday like a pitiful little boy" she replied while rolling her eyes.
Yuki's eyes twitched remembering how he got caught. "That was a mistake, they caught me unaware when I was asleep, I had to fight in a weakened stare."
"Caught an 'Alpha' unaware when he was asleep" Kira said while rolling her eyes.
"Forget all that, I'm hungry where's the food?" Yuki asked trying to divert the topic.
"How did you get caught? Explain everything truthfully and I'll give you"
"Denying your Alpha food, you're the worst Luna ever." Yuki said with frustration evident on his face. He could go to the reception room to search for food but he couldn't guarantee the blonde nerd downstairs wouldn't catch him.
"Blackmailing your Luna, you're the worst Alpha ever!" She said then rolled over and pulled on the blanket trying to close her eyes and fall asleep.
"When you're ready to tell me how you got caught, then you'll eat.... " She suddenly stopped and threw the blanket while standing up.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm cold, I want to sleep"
"Go somewhere else, get out!"
