'Level 7 and I'm just 13 exp short of getting to level 8, two more levels till class upgrade' he thought while looking at the panel.
'I'll go out to hunt for a while then return when it's almost night.' he thought while walking across the forest.
'Aside from the magical beasts I should be able to deal with the others, if I meet one I'll just run.'
After a while, he found six rabbits and a deer giving him 52 extra exp, he levelled up to level 8 leaving him with 39.9 exp.
'I just need to level up two more times and I'll hit level 10.' he thought while looking for his next prey.
He was looking for his next prey when he heard a low growl behind him, crouching below the grass, he turned around to see a panther walking across the plains with a menacing look on it's face.

Draxus slowly crept backwards trying to be as unnoticeable as possible, 'Why did I have to meet one, just what I've been trying to avoid.'
The panther suddenly turned it's head staring deep into Draxus' eyes with it's deep amber eyes.
'I'm doomed, if it tries to attack me I'll just run.' Draxus thought while staying on the same spot without moving a muscle when a loud roar suddenly came from the front.
"ROOOAAARRR!!---"
The panther turned it's head away and looked ahead to find a Bear walking towards it on all fours.

'Another one!' Draxus thought while feeling like he could dig a hole and bury himself in it.
'Luring Antelopes is slow but way better than getting caught between two magical beasts.' he thought while laying close to the grass and crawling backwards.
'Please don't notice me, please don't look here, I'll just vanish you two can duke it out but don't involve me please' he prayed while crawling backwards when the bear suddenly turned it's head and stared at him making him freeze on the spot.
'Why do I have to be so unlucky, I just died a while ago I don't have to die again so soon.' he thought while feeling the sight of the two magical beasts fixed on him.
The bear suddenly locked onto him and started pouncing towards him with large strides when the panther also leapt towards him like a flash of light.
'It's so fast! I couldn't even see it move' Draxus thought while summoning all the strength in his body, leaping out of the way.
The spot he leaped from suddenly exploded into a mess. The sight of their collision made Draxus eyes open wide.
The panther had lightning crackling all over it's body and it's eyes turned light blue while the bear looked the same but the panther couldn't seem to do anything to it.
The panther was fast but it's attacks were barely hurting the bear even though the bear had no way to retaliate either.
'At this rate the bear would die sooner or later and by then I'll be the one dying next.' Draxus thought while watching the fight unfold.
'Forget it, I don't need to know who will win I'll just leave first'
The next moment he burst into a sprint running away with large strides while the two who were entangled with each other didn't notice him.
'What if I could eat one of those two? I would definitely hit level ten or at least be very close to it' he thought while slowing down then hiding behind a tree watching the two beasts Duke it out.
'It's enough here, I'll just hide till there's a winner and pray it's corpse is still intact when I get there and even if I don't get the corpse it won't hurt to try.' Draxus thought.
It looked like a battle but it was more like a one sided thrashing with the panther wrecking havoc on the bear and playing it around like a fiddle.
'The bear would probably die soon, it would've been better if the panther died though. The panther would probably claim the bear's body.' Draxus thought while looking at the helpless bear.
Suddenly, the bear let out a loud roar at the panther.
"ROOOAAARRR!!---"
The panther who was initially dashing around suddenly fell over in a dazed state and the bear lifted it's paw swiping it towards the panther leaving huge marks over it's lean body. The panther struggled to stand up and run away but it looked like it's forelimbs were injured and it couldn't run before the bear delivered another strike to it's head crushing it into pulp.
'Holy..... The bear crushed it into pieces with just two attacks!' Draxus thought while looking at the bear who filled with claw and scratch marks. It looked severely weakened as it stumbled away.
'Should I attack it? No just forget it, I'll take the Panthers corpse first then once I level up I can find it through the trails.' he thought then walked over to the Panthers corpse.
Taking a bite at the corpse, he could hear the system beep.

'20 Exp from a single bite?? I've struck gold!' he screamed internally while biting out huge chunks from the Panthers body ignoring the system's beep eating it down to the last piece of flesh then checking the system panel for his total exp gain.
