Getting the communicator had been harder than he imagined. He had to invent three other stories just to get one. But in the end, he managed to acquire it. It was basically a phone. He could listen to music, take photos, contact other people, literally everything a phone would be able to in his past life.
'Now, where do I download some music?'
Then, his communicator vibrated.
"Oh, our room is ready," he said to Silk, which was hidden between his clothes. "What do you think? Should we eat first or sleep?"
She shrugged, it's not like she was tired or hungry.
"You are no fun," he said, shaking his head. "Then, let's see our new house."
Otto descended three layers before he finally found his room, worst yet, it was literally the last room in the row. The room was exactly what he expected. It had a bed, a table, a dresser, and a bathroom, the same as Sunny had, even the screen that tried to imitate a window was there, showing the same snowy park.
"Well, make yourself at home." he said to Silk as he picked her and placed her on the table.
He collapsed onto the bed without a second thought.
"Don't you dare wake me up. If you do, I swear I'll kill you."
And just like that, he was asleep. Faster than Silk could even protest.

Otto were awakened by an annoying buzz in his ear. His communicator were beeping like crazy. He almost threw it against the wall, but it stopped himself at the last second.
'What am I doing? I just got this. Perhaps I am really crazy.'
Leaving his sanity aside, he got up, curious about all this noise was about.
'Psychological counseling?'
As standard, the government offered every new Sleeper psychological support. Some really did need it, surely there were people out there who really got traumatized by their First Nightmare. It goes without saying that he wasn't one of them, still, he probably should at least go there out of courtesy.
'I won't even appear at the board anyway,' he yawned 'Only an hour left. Guess I have some time until there.'
There was still some things he had to make sure of before leaving. Looking around he spotted, on the farthest corner of his bed, a big spiderweb was being formed. Its pure white was dazzling, matching the white snow in his fake window.
Silk had weaved this entire thing by herself. Perhaps missing her old home, or because it was part of her being. In any case, it was impressive that she did all of that in only one night. Getting close without making a noise, Otto saw the little spider on its web, chilling like it was on vacation.
For a moment, Otto considered if he should let her rest, perhaps she deserved it after basically remaking his arms of scratches. But again, if he doesn't have a vacation, why should her?
"Hey, why are you chilling there? Don't you know we have work to do?"
Surprised by the suddenlyness of his voice, Silk jumped back, raising her little arms in a defensive form. That only made him laugh.
"Are you really that easy to scare?"
It took a second to understand what had happened, and when she did, Silk got angry. She prepared to send another tangle of web straight to his face, one that would stick there for hours. It was the perfect timing, he was laughing with his eyes closed, there was literally no way that he would be able to dodge this time.
At least, that's what she thought. But as she shot her web, Otto simply ducked. Once again his body had moved on its own.
"Right, there was this…" Not that he had forgotten about it. The feeling of something trying to attach to him, but ultimately failing. It was… weird, to say the least. 'Maybe it is something related to [Child of Spiders]? Do I have the spider sense as well?'
It was a possibility. If he could crawl on walls, who knows what else came into the packet? Perhaps if it evolved he would even be able to shoot webs from his wrist. That would be cool.
But sadly, he knew that it wasn't. How? Just a feeling. Instead, there was another explanation to it.
'So I can look and sense the strings?' he sighed, 'Still, I don't know if I should be happy or sad that no Fate can connect to me…'
At least his aspect wasn't completely useless.
He had at least one good thing, if not, what would be the difference in him to a mundane human? Literally none, hell, he would be even worse than an average human.
This was good, it was perfect actually. It was the ultimate defense, that is if there is no other problem like the speed of the attack, if it didn't, he would basically be invincible and cool at the same time. Imagine it, his enemy would be sweating buckets while trying to hit him and he would be nonchalantly dodging every attack. Aura!
"I have to leave for some useless physiological consultation. Do you want to come?" he asked Silk.
She pondered his question for a moment, before shaking her head. Though she had no idea what that was, who would leave its sweet and cozy web for anything really?
"Suit yourself, but you will lose the fun." he said, then turned around and headed towards the bathroom. He took a quick shower, then put a dark blue hoodie that was in the wardrobe. "Hm… should I tie my hair?" he mumbled to himself.
It was starting to be annoying having all that hair in front of his eyes. If it weren't for the necessity of it, he would have already cut some time ago.
"What's the worst that can happen?" he muttered, tying his hair into a ponytail.
"I'm heading out. Take care of the room."
He tossed the instruction to Silk over his shoulder as he left.
