Although Andrew didn't know much about alcohol, he knew from the name that this wine must be very expensive, so he hurriedly apologized to Scarlett.
"Sor... Sorry, Teacher Scarlett, I shouldn't have drunk your wine."
"You indeed shouldn't have."
Scarlett meant that Andrew shouldn't have drunk such a high-proof spirit; even she didn't dare to drink much Tequila. She had poured this glass intending to sip it all night, but Andrew had downed it all in one go.
But Andrew's head was already starting to spin, and he thought she was completely furious. He was already prepared to be punished and beaten.
"Teacher, whatever you say goes. I'll listen to you."
"Sit tight here first, don't move around."
After saying that, Scarlett went to the kitchen. Andrew thought she was going to get torture implements, and since he was currently somewhat delirious, he had already begun leaving his last words for his mother.
"Mom, I might not see tomorrow's sun. Please take care of yourself."
"I drank Scarlett's very expensive wine. She's very angry and will probably kill me to vent her rage."
"By the way, back in high school, I asked you for extra book money several times to secretly save up for a phone. I played with it under the covers at night without you ever knowing, but I still studied hard during the day."
"Also, Dad's private stash of money is hidden in the lining of his old suit. He actually never quit smoking; he takes the opportunity to smoke every time he takes out the trash."
"My sister also likes reading some perverted novels. When I'm gone, you should pay more attention to her. I feel like her psyche is already a bit twisted."
---
Andrew kept typing in the memo app on his phone, but as the alcohol kicked in and his body was already exhausted, his eyelids began to grow heavy.
"So sleepy... Since things have come to this, I might as well sleep first. They say dying in a dream isn't painful."
When Scarlett returned from the kitchen after brewing some Hangover Tea, she saw that Andrew had already fallen asleep leaning against the table.
"How can he just fall asleep like that? Didn't I brew this tea for nothing?"
Scarlett sighed helplessly. "Forget it, he's just a kid after all. It's normal to pass out after drinking such high-proof alcohol."
Since Andrew was asleep and the wine was gone, Scarlett started drinking the tea she held as she sat down beside him.
She planned to see if Andrew would wake up halfway through, in which case she would brew another cup of Hangover Tea for him.
Just as Scarlett sat down, her gaze was suddenly drawn to Andrew's phone, its screen still lit. The first line of the memo happened to be visible to her.
"What is he writing? Last words?"
Scarlett was both puzzled and found it strange, even wondering if Andrew had some psychological issues. If that were the case, she would have to take him to see a psychiatrist.
To confirm her suspicions, Scarlett gently took Andrew's phone and saw this unfinished 'will.'
Seeing that Andrew thought she would kill him, Scarlett found it baffling and even a bit amusing.
"Just what kind of image do I have in his heart? Some kind of heinous she-devil?"
Reading further, Scarlett completely lost it and started laughing. "This Little Fellow actually didn't rest properly in high school and played with his phone secretly at night. He's still just a playful child."
From these 'last words,' Scarlett saw many of Andrew's secrets: 'I was even forced by my sister to wear a dress once; I've never dared to tell anyone about this.'
When she saw this line, Scarlett glanced sideways at the sleeping Andrew and murmured in her heart, "This Little Fellow probably looks quite cute in a dress."
After finishing the hilariously funny 'last words,' Scarlett was certain Andrew had no psychological issues; he was simply excessively afraid of her.
After putting away her smile and regaining her composure, Scarlett made a decision.
"No, when he wakes up, I must ask him clearly why he's so afraid of me. Misunderstandings should be cleared up as early as possible."
To prevent Andrew from refusing to talk again, Scarlett directly copied his 'last words.' Then, using her phone to add him on WeChat, she sent the text to herself and deleted the record on his end.
"If he still won't talk, I'll use the secrets in here to coerce him."
"But wouldn't that just confirm my image as a bad woman in his heart?"
Scarlett felt a bit conflicted and finally decided not to use this to threaten Andrew unless it was absolutely necessary.
But she was definitely going to keep these secrets well; they might come in handy at some point.
Scarlett placed Andrew's phone back into his hand and sat beside him, drinking tea while looking over teaching materials.
Time passed minute by minute until the sky outside turned completely dark and torrential rain began to fall again. Andrew was still slumped over sleeping, and he was sleeping very soundly, even drooling a little.
"It's almost eight o'clock. He won't sleep until dawn, will he?"
Scarlett was getting a bit sleepy from waiting herself. "I won't wait any longer. I'll go wash up and rest too."
She stood up, took her nightgown, and went to the room to take a shower.
After a while, Scarlett walked out wearing a black camisole nightgown.
Her snow-white skin was fully revealed under this nightgown. Black straps crossed her delicate collarbones, hooking onto two pieces of black silk fabric that clung to her chest, outlining her proud curves while leaving the middle part completely uncovered, exposing her fine skin.
Below the silk fabric was a cinched waistline that highlighted Scarlett's slender waist. As she walked, the mesh-like hem swayed gently, accentuating her long, well-proportioned legs.
Scarlett wore this nightgown almost every night, but Andrew had never seen it because she usually rested quite late and wouldn't come out again after showering and returning to her room.
After coming out of the bathroom, Scarlett originally intended to return to her room to sleep, but looking at Andrew slumped on the table with his face flushed from the alcohol, she stopped in her tracks.
"It won't do if he catches a cold sleeping like this. He still has military training tomorrow."
Scarlett came to Andrew's side and easily carried him back to his bedroom like a child.
In fact, Andrew's guess that Scarlett's combat power was off the charts was not wrong at all. Scarlett was a Judo black belt and also knew tactical self-defense; she really could kill someone with a single strike.
After carrying Andrew to the bed, Scarlett wanted to cover him with the blanket, but looking at his dirty military training uniform, she felt it would soil the bedding.
"Maybe I should help him wash up, but that would mean taking off his clothes. However, he'll catch a cold if I don't cover him, and he sweated so much today."
Scarlett was very conflicted for a moment. She loved cleanliness and disliked filth, so she really wanted to give Andrew a quick wash.
Moreover, if Andrew caught a cold, she wouldn't be able to explain it to her mentor, Alexa. While some other thoughts also started appearing in her mind.
She finally made up her mind to wash up for Andrew. "Taking care of a kid is so troublesome. Next time I see Teacher, I'll ask her for compensation."
Scarlett brought hot water and a towel, and also took a set of clean clothes from Andrew's wardrobe.
At first, when she was washing Andrew's face, Scarlett didn't have much of a reaction. But when she took off Andrew's top to help wash his body, her heart rate quickened slightly.
At the same time, she whispered in admiration, "Even though this Little Fellow is thin, his physique is actually quite good."
But when she prepared to continue washing Andrew, a blush finally appeared on Scarlett's fair, cold face.
