Hearing the question, memories suddenly flashed through Kashish's mind. His senses returned, and he was filled with rage. "I'll kill you, bastard! You killed my whole family!" he shouted.
Hearing this, Ahar froze, shocked. "Who are you?"
"I've killed so many people. Which family do you belong to? By the way, how are you planning to kill me? I don't think you're at the stage to actually kill me. You're like a rat to me. Whenever I want, I can silence your voice and your life. I'm not really interested in knowing who you are. It's fine if you don't want to answer me," Ahar said, his tone cold and unshaken.
After that, Ahar walked over and sat on the bed. A few minutes later, he fell asleep naked exhausted from the night.
During their sleep, both of them had nightmares of their parents being killed. Terrified, Kashish screamed in his sleep. Hearing the scream, Ahar woke up and stared at Kashish, his eyes wide and alert.
Then Ahar moved closer to Kashish, gently touching his face as he whispered to himself, "Should I wake him up? Is he trapped in a nightmare too?" For a moment, he hesitated, watching Kashish twist in his sleep. Finally, he began to shake him softly, trying to bring him back.
After waking up, Kashish began crying and shouting, his voice breaking with pain. "Why? Why did you kill my parents? Why did you do that? You were my friend. We used to play together. I had no one before I met you. I thought you were the person I could trust but you killed my family. I kept asking myself why you did that. I never got the chance to ask you. I waited so long. Tell me, why did you kill them?"
Ahar was shocked to realize that Kashish was once his friend and that he himself had been the murderer of Kashish's family. He had nothing to say. His lips trembled, but no words came out. In silence, he turned and stepped out of the room.
Behind him, Kashish kept struggling and calling out, desperately trying to get answers.
Ahar had fallen asleep on the couch, still naked. When morning came, he woke up and remembered that Kashish was still in the room. Quietly, he went to check and saw Kashish sleeping. Without disturbing him, Ahar headed to the bathroom.
After breakfast, Ahar opened the envelope his foster father had given him. As he pulled out the photo inside, his eyes widened in shock. The face staring back at him was Kashish.
That meant his next target… was none other than Kashish himself.
He whispered to himself, "Who wants to kill Kashish and why?"
Then he went to Kashish, who was already awake. Ahar placed the breakfast in front of him. At first, Kashish refused to eat, but his hunger won in the end, and he couldn't resist anymore.
After making sure he had eaten, Ahar looked straight into his eyes and said, "Do you know…I got a contract to kill you?"
