"Like Cheongi," said Han-Ho.

Han-Ho presented.
Item one: deep network entity.
"The Dragon Vein network has an occupant," said Han-Ho. "Older than the blockage. Older than Cheongi. The old man's assessment places its presence as predating world separation."
The room was quiet.
"Predating world separation," said Oh Kyung-Soo.
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"How old is that," said Oh Kyung-Soo.
"Unknown," said Han-Ho. "The blockage was twenty thousand years ago. World separation predates the blockage. The entity predates both."
"So it is at minimum twenty thousand years old," said Yoo Chae-Won.
"At minimum yes," said Han-Ho.
"And it noticed you on Tuesday," said Yoo Chae-Won.
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"Because of the shard."
"The shard woke it. The attention is on me specifically."
"Of course it is," said Yoo Chae-Won.
The sword said: "Of course."
Everyone looked at the sword.
"It is still doing that," said Baek Sung-Il.

We learned Cheongi's sounds before we initiated direct communication. Apply the same protocol."
"How long did Cheongi take," said Min-Seo.
"Several weeks," said Han-Ho.
"And Cheongi was under Seoul," said Min-Seo. "This thing is in the Dragon Vein network."
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"It can feel you anywhere on the route."
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"So it is always watching you."
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"And you are fine with that."
Han-Ho made a note.
"Yes," said Han-Ho.
Min-Seo looked at the table.
"Of course you are," said Min-Seo.
"Of course," said the sword.

Thursday application: the shard will be present during the ley line cleaning session. Expected rate improvement: unknown. The shard's effect on ley line energy has not been directly tested. The sprite's assessment suggests compatibility. Thursday is the test.

"Yes," said Han-Ho.
"Is that safe," said General Ashmark.
"The shard is source energy from the very large world network," said Han-Ho. "The ley line network and the Dragon Vein network share a source. The shard should be compatible with both."

"Thursday will confirm," said Han-Ho.

"What happens after six months," said Oh Kyung-Soo.
"Unknown," said Lee Soo-Bin. "But the recalibration direction is positive. Toward clean energy not away from it."
"The very large world," said Oh Kyung-Soo.
"Already came to Seoul," said Lee Soo-Bin. "Said thank you. Left a shard. The constellation considers the very large world resolved."

"Very old. Very large. Very strange," said Han-Ho.
"Yes," said the old man. "The very large world's junction was partially opened by the main blockage clearing. That is how the entity felt the clean energy and came to Seoul. The very old world's junction is mostly open — the recalibration Lee Soo-Bin described is the very old world adjusting to the increased flow. The very strange world's junction is—" He paused. "Narrow. The clean energy is reaching it but only slightly. Not enough for a full response."
"These three junctions need direct attention," said Han-Ho.
"Yes," said the old man.

"Yes," said the old man. "That is the deepest accessible point on Earth."

"After the cleanup monitoring."
"Yes," said the old man.
"I will need your sensitivity monitoring during the session."
