Hero Association Headquarters, Conference Room 18.
A group of top S-Class Heroes had been summoned once again.
"Everyone, the main reason for calling this emergency meeting today is that during the recent campaign against the monsters, we received several reports of inexplicable phenomena."
"There is a high probability of a connection to the previous prophecy about the end of Earth."
"Today is for gathering everyone's opinions. Before a final official conclusion is announced, I hope everyone maintains strict confidentiality."
Sitch was currently looking at the documents in his hand with a serious expression, then scanned the room.
"Understood, but why keep it a secret at this stage? I don't get it." Zombieman frowned.
Currently, humanity's situation was precarious. They had finally managed to eliminate the Monster Association, only to discover an even more powerful force behind it.
"I've already reported it. In the current situation, anyone could undergo Monsterization, just like those two idiot ninjas. This should be taken seriously." Flashy Flash's expression was indifferent.
This time, he had easily killed Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame within the Monster Association. By the time he returned to the surface, the battle was almost over. Thus, he believed that the strength of humans who underwent Monsterization was nothing special. The only one worth worrying about was that person from the Ninja Village.
"Anyone could undergo monsterization? To think such a thing is possible... My time is limited, and I have many appointments later. You all better explain this clearly and concisely." Sweet Mask looked into a mirror.
He was extremely dissatisfied with the fact that the Monsterized Garou and Dark Mask had been allowed to escape during the battle.
"Then allow me to speak. Regarding Saitama-sensei's brilliant performance, please give me three hours."
Genos brought out a stack of papers several meters high from out of nowhere, looking ready to deliver a passionate speech.
"Ahem! Zombieman, you fought against the Monster Association's Homeless Emperor and discovered a special kind of Monsterization, didn't you?" Sitch couldn't help but cough awkwardly, hurriedly interrupting Genos.
'Let's leave Genos for the end. Otherwise, it'll be dark by the time he finishes.'
"Yes. That guy claimed that while he was still human, he obtained something like Divine Power from a so-called God." Zombieman had a cigarette in his mouth, his gaze quite solemn.
Perhaps only those who had experienced it firsthand knew how terrifying that power was.
"God?"
Everyone's eyes converged on him, but the expressions of Sitch and Sekingar clearly changed.
"However, to continue the research, we would have had to capture him alive. Unfortunately, he was killed by King in the end." Zombieman felt some regret, but his eyes showed admiration.
No matter how powerful an ability was, it seemed like an ant before King.
"God? Wasn't it the work of the Monster Association's leader? By the way, King's performance at the end was decent. Did he not come to the meeting?" Sweet Mask spoke up.
Among all the S-Class Heroes, the one he thought most highly of was King. Decisive in killing and possessing overwhelming strength that struck terror into the hearts of monsters—this was the standard for the Strongest Man on Earth.
"He seems to still be in Z-City, saying he's looking for something."
"I see. Is he planning to completely wipe out the remnants of the Monster Association? As expected of him." A satisfied smile appeared on Sweet Mask's face. This kind of behavior fit his ideal image of a hero.
Flashy Flash said, "However, I once came into contact with a black cube underground, which was later teleported to the surface by Blast."
"What? You said Blast?!"
The other heroes were all astonished. Blast's whereabouts were mysterious, even the top-ranking S-Class Heroes of the Hero Association had rarely seen the S-Class Rank 1 hero.
"But regarding Blast's actions, Sitch, do you know something? Blast even asked me to give you his regards." Flashy Flash looked at Sitch.
Others might not know, but Sitch definitely knew some inside information.
"Actually the news I've been hiding until now..."
"Blast has been continuously fighting the 'God' you mentioned for the past twenty years. He and several partners have been searching for the black cubes that can turn people into monsters."
Sitch knew he could no longer hide it and reluctantly told the truth.
"That box?"
"Yes. It's said to be a communication device with God. Blast collects these items and attempts to analyze them."
"It wasn't until his battle with Elder Centipede two years ago that he finally received a message from God. He apparently rejected some kind of deal from God, and a battle broke out between them."
"According to him, only by keeping other heroes and humans unaware of God's existence can the risk of being targeted be reduced."
Sitch now revealed everything about why he had hidden it.
However, everyone present was a powerful hero, and since God had already appeared during this Monster Association campaign, it will likely be unavoidable to encounter it in the future. It's better to inform them so they can take precautions.
"So that's why Blast refuses to show himself. He'd rather fight alone than involve us? What a tough guy."
Zombieman couldn't help but feel some admiration. Blast's actions reminded him of King.
"What a pity. If Saitama-sensei had been told earlier, it could have been resolved in minutes."
The one speaking was naturally Genos. He believed that whether it was God or any monster, they were no match for Saitama.
"No, the reason Blast can fight God is that he can manipulate space-time. Other heroes are simply powerless." Sitch spoke hurriedly.
This was also why Blast didn't want other heroes to interfere.
Genos said, "Then you are wrong. I'm only now beginning to describe Saitama-sensei's strength. Next, please give me five hours."
'Holy crap! Wasn't it three hours? We're doomed.'
Cold sweat broke out on the foreheads of Sitch and the other heroes. Genos's nagging was famous throughout the Hero Association. Yet, he was an S-Class hero, so out of respect, everyone had to listen.
"As for Saitama's strength, I have experienced it deeply as well."
Just then, a voice drifted in, and the conference room doors slowly opened.
"King!"
"King, why are you...?"
Everyone perked up upon seeing the newcomer. Sitch and Sekingar were also extremely surprised.
King shrugged, "I heard you guys were having a meeting here. I just happened to move into the area, so I stopped by to take a look."
Genos stood up and spoke with great solemnity, "Regarding the housing, Saitama-sensei asked me to express his thanks to you once again."
King waved his hand. "It's fine. With Saitama around, there's absolutely no need to worry about the security of the Hero Association Headquarters."
