/ POV: Leto /
Leto keeps calling his daughter.
But she doesn't answer.
"…No… no…"
A bad feeling rises in his chest.
He calls again.
And again.
Still nothing.
His expression darkens.
As a last hope, he calls Zure.
The moment he hears the boy's voice, his heart eases—just a little.
"Is there… any problem, Uncle Leto?" Zure's voice trembles.
Leto's anger explodes.
"Did you do something to my daughter?! Did you hurt her?!"
Zure freezes.
"…I…"
"Answer me!" Leto shouts.
"I don't have time for your hesitation! Where is my daughter?!"
Zure's voice shakes in fear.
"I—I don't know… After I confessed… she rejected me…"
"I waited for her to come home… but she didn't…"
"I called her so many times… but she didn't answer…"
Leto's heart sinks.
"…Why didn't she come home…?"
He realizes something—
He's always too busy with work.
He barely comes home.
And when he does…
He avoids her.
Because of guilt.
Zure's voice breaks.
"This is my fault… I shouldn't have confessed like that…"
"I need to find her… I need to make sure she's okay…"
He starts crying.
Leto's anger fades.
Only fear remains.
He slowly lowers the phone.
"I don't want to lose my daughter…"
His hand trembles.
"…Where are you…?"
Tears form in his eyes—
Something he hasn't felt in a long time.
"…This is my fault…"
He rushes to the police station.
A police officer looks at him and smiles lightly.
"I've been trying to call you, but you didn't answer."
Leto freezes.
Even the police…? Something must have happened…
His face turns pale.
"Don't worry," the officer says.
"Nothing serious happened to your daughter."
Leto can't believe it.
"She was almost hit by a car…"
"But luckily, a boy saved her."
Guilt crashes into him.
She must have been terrified…
Why wasn't I there…?
"She's at the hospital now. She's safe."
Leto bows his head deeply.
"Thank you… thank you so much…"
The officer smiles.
"It's my duty."
Leto runs toward the hospital.
Memories of his last conversation with his daughter echo in his mind.
What was her problem…? Was it about me…?
As he reaches the room, he stops for a moment.
"I'll spend more time with her…"
"Money means nothing if I lose her…"
"And I need to thank that boy…"
He takes a deep breath.
Then—
He opens the door.
And sees something—
He can't believe.
