The dancing sparks of white light were blinding. Faust knew he only had a split second to act. He had been attacking the Saturn Knight; now the enemy was gone and replaced by an attack.
Instantly, his first instinct was to use Instance Replication.

Faust didn't know what was happening, but he felt a strange pull and the shuddering cold that came when the world was being pulled apart.

A mess of yellow arrows and indicators flashed in his vision, confirming that his attempt at instance replication had broken something.
But it also revealed a path of escape.
He dove into the Narrow Path, reeling as the darkness expanded around him and the light retreated across the horizon.
