The Formless Castle and its honorable members opened the discussion trying to chastise Faust.
Spoiler warning: it didn't work.
The World Council was made up of one hundred people chosen by the ten gods as interim members.
They came from all walks of life—different races, countries, and ages. Faust spotted a guy up there that barely looked older than twenty.
He could even see Larson.
But all of them seemed to be of the opinion that Faust was dangerous.
The council members sat above the theater, shrouded in darkness. Faust stood on the stage, surrounded on all sides by non-council members allowed to watch.
"Did you have prior knowledge of the Gate's appearance?" the speaker asked.
"None," Faust replied.
'I was there on a date,' he said internally, but he was just going to answer as quickly as possible.
