"Hey! It's been almost five minutes!"

Outside the court, the first team's players stared in disbelief at the two players on the court. The intense battle between the two made them realize the gap in talent between themselves and these two. No one had expected this one-on-one match would be so exciting.

Just as everyone was captivated by the intense clash between the two, a voice reached their ears.

"The chance of being dispossessed on a right-side drive is 12%."

Ryu's dribbling movements suddenly changed. His previously conventional playing style suddenly became wild and unrestrained.

Various inhuman moves left Aomine Daiki momentarily unable to react.

A glint flashed in Ryu's eyes. The Ice Emperor's Eye had found one of Aomine Daiki's weaknesses.

Ryu's movements abruptly changed. The impending drive abruptly stopped. Ryu dribbled the ball with one hand, then spun around to get behind Aomine Daiki.

Just then, everyone heard Ryu's voice again.

"Break through the defense and jump to shoot; the chance of being blocked is 0%."

Losing his balance, Aomine Daiki could only watch helplessly as Ryu swished the ball into the basket.

3-2, Ryu took the lead.

Aomine Daiki stood there, stunned.

He had heard Ryu's mutterings, but he felt this was too absurd.

Was everything he had done predicted? Damn it… but that's what makes it more interesting.

Ryu picked up the basketball and casually tossed it to Aomine Daiki. "Your turn."

Aomine Daiki received the ball but didn't choose to fast break. He adjusted his stance. After a long while, he looked up at Ryu. His azure pupils burned with a fiery light, seemingly capable of melting the Ryu. He stared at Ryu before him.

Suddenly, a thorn-like sensation gripped Ryu. He knew it was the feeling of wildness emanating from him.

Ryu's focus hardened.

Thump, thump, thump…

Aomine Daiki's dribbling speed increased. Ryu's eyes swept over every inch of Aomine Daiki's body. In his eyes, Aomine Daiki's weaknesses were constantly shifting.

Suddenly, Aomine moved. He attempted to break through Ryu's defenses with his maximum speed. Ryu, possessing the Ice Emperor's Eye, naturally knew the direction of Aomine Daiki's breakthrough.

"A breakthrough with maximum speed, the chance of a layup is 83%."

Ryu didn't chase Aomine Daiki. Instead, he directly blocked Aomine Daiki's path to the layup. Seeing this, Aomine Daiki froze. Then he switched the basketball, preparing for a mid-range shot. But just then, a dark shadow blocked his view.

"The probability of a blocked layup leading to a mid-range shot is 95%."

"What?" Aomine Daiki stared at this scene in disbelief.

It was predicted again. Damn it.

Aomine Daiki quickly pulled back his arm, taking a step back beyond the three-point line.

He turned and dribbled towards the baseline. All of this was within Ryu's prediction. Although he hadn't known Aomine Daiki for long, after the recent few rounds of play, he had a general understanding of Aomine Daiki's personality and choices.

If it were anyone else, Ryu couldn't have predicted it so accurately. But Aomine Daiki was too naive.

He was a true basketball-loving boy. After landing, Ryu turned and chased after him. He once again blocked Aomine Daiki's path. The two were locked in a stalemate at the boundary line.

Damn it… damn it… damn it…

Aomine Daiki was filled with resentment.

How could he lose like this! Ah… Aomine Daiki roared. Suddenly, he pushed off with both legs, flying towards the edge of the boundary line. Seeing this, Ryu sighed. He didn't stop the shot; he simply said:

"The probability of jumping out of bounds after breaking the limit is 30%, the probability of forcing a shot from outside the boundary is 100%."

"I can't stop this shot, so based on your shooting touch, the success rate is 100%."

Ryu's words had barely finished… just as Ryu had predicted, the basketball bounced off the backboard and into the hoop.

3-3 tie.

At this point, no one cared about the outcome of the game.

Everyone stared at Ryu in disbelief. They seemed to have just heard something. This time, it wasn't just them. Even Shirogane Kozo, watching from the second floor, was unsettled.

"What did he just say?" Midorima Shintaro's eyes widened in horror.

Akashi Seijuro was the same. His mind was in turmoil. If he hadn't misheard, Ryu was calculating and predicting. Was that really possible? Predicting an opponent's next move during a game wasn't impossible. But calculating down to a percentage like Ryu did was truly unbelievable.

It was practically predicting the future.

Murasakibara Atsushi looked completely bewildered. Momoi Satsuki's eyes widened. She heard Ryu's mutterings too, but she found it hard to believe it was true.

*Clap clap clap…*

Just then, Shirogane Kozo and the assistant coach walked up to the group.

"What a wonderful match! Let's call it a day!"

"But Coach," Aomine Daiki tried to say something.

He hadn't had his fill yet!

Ryu interrupted him. "Aomine-kun, we can play anytime. Let's call it a day! I'm new here, and there's still a lot I need to learn!"

Hearing this, Aomine Daiki, though reluctant, sighed and walked away dejectedly.

Shirogane Kozo chuckled. "After the match, everyone should know Ryu-kun by now, so I won't go into too much detail. From now on, Ryu-kun is a member of the first team."

No one objected. After the match, they were convinced of Ryu's abilities.

At this moment, the assistant coach stepped forward and addressed the group.

"Before practice today, I have something to say. Because some members of the basketball team have abused their positions to deliberately make things difficult for new students, this kind of unfair practice of settling personal scores is absolutely unacceptable."

Upon hearing this, everyone looked confused. Many people didn't understand what the assistant coach meant.

The assistant coach looked at Ryu.

"Ryu-kun, on behalf of the basketball team, I apologize for what happened to you before. It was my dereliction of duty not to manage the basketball team well."

Boom… everyone present was stunned. They stared at the assistant coach and Ryu in disbelief.

"What's going on?"

"Why is the assistant coach apologizing to Ryu-kun?"

"What happened to the basketball team before? I don't know anything about it?"

A moment later, those who loved gossip began to whisper among themselves.

Ryu hadn't expected the assistant coach to apologize to him in public. He quickly waved his hand and said:

"Ah, well, you don't need to do this. I didn't take what happened before to heart. Besides, it wasn't the basketball team's fault."

Hearing Ryu say this, everyone became even more interested in the matter. Aomine Daiki then came up to him and asked softly: "Hey! Ryu-kun, did something happen before?"

"Uh, how should I put it!" Ryu didn't know where to begin.

Just then, Momoi Satsuki, carrying Karupin, approached the group and said: "Let me tell you!"

Everyone looked at her with curiosity. She then recounted Ryu's ordeal. This made everyone understand the infuriating incident that had occurred in the basketball club.

"Damn it, that Takahashi guy went too far! I really want to punch him!" Aomine Daiki was the first to stand up for Ryu.

Nijimura Shuzo already knew about it, so he didn't say anything. Midorima Shintaro seemed to despise such people, speaking very directly: "This kind of unethical behavior doesn't deserve to be in the basketball club."

His meaning was clear. He hated this kind of person. They lacked skill and only resorted to underhanded tactics. Not to mention that such tactics almost cost the team a true genius.

Akashi Seijuro agreed. "Thankfully, that kind of person has been kicked out, so Ryu can stay in the basketball club without worry from now on."

Clap clap clap...

The assistant coach clapped his hands. "Alright, everyone keep an eye on each other. Now, let's begin today's training."

Ryu possessed the Divine-Demon Physique. He quickly adapted to the first team's training. Even so, he was still exhausted by the intense training of the first team. Only now did he truly realize how terrifying this head coach of the Teiko basketball club was.
