Chapter 31 - CHAPTER 27 — TWO PATHS COLLIDE (FINAL

The forest was still.

Heavy.

Watching.

Han Chandu moved silently.

Black armor covering his body.

Dark.

Featureless.

Shadow.

He stopped.

A presence ahead.

Familiar.

Two figures.

He didn't move at first.

Only watched.

One of them—

.

Golden armor.

Bright.

Sharp.

Stronger.

Then—

Another figure.

Unsteady.

Injured.

But dangerous.

.

Blood stained his body.

His breathing rough.

But his eyes—

Still sharp.

"…you…"

A low voice.

Cold.

The fight began.

Fast.

Explosive.

Even injured—

Xue Longyan was dangerous.

Han Sen dodged.

Countered.

Adapted.

Pressure built.

Then—

A moment.

A slip.

Enough.

Han Sen moved.

One strike.

Clean.

Xue Longyan froze.

Then—

Collapsed.

Dead.

No message appeared.

No sound.

Nothing.

Silence returned.

Han Sen stood still.

Breathing steady.

Then—

He moved.

Crouched beside the body.

Searched.

His hand paused.

He found something.

A small object.

Cold.

Ancient.

A jade plate.

Faint patterns carved into it.

Complex.

Unfamiliar.

Han Sen's eyes narrowed slightly.

At that moment—

A presence approached.

Han Chandu stepped forward.

The black armor faded.

Piece by piece.

Until—

Nothing remained.

Han Sen's eyes sharpened.

"…you…"

Recognition.

Not complete—

But enough.

Han Chandu stood calmly.

No hostility.

No tension.

Only understanding.

"…that thing," Han Chandu said quietly.

"…it's not ordinary."

Han Sen looked at the jade plate.

Then back at him.

"…you know it?"

A brief pause.

"…a technique," Han Chandu replied.

"…something that strengthens the body."

Not everything.

Only enough.

Han Sen's grip tightened slightly.

"…and you just happened to be here?"

Han Chandu didn't answer directly.

"…I saw the fight."

Silence.

Then—

Han Sen exhaled.

"…you didn't interfere."

Han Chandu shook his head slightly.

"…your fight."

Another pause.

Then Han Sen looked at the jade plate again.

"…you want it?"

Han Chandu's gaze remained calm.

"…we both use it."

Han Sen looked at him.

Studying.

Then—

He nodded.

"…fine."

No argument.

No greed.

Because instinct told him—

This wasn't something simple.

They sat.

Opposite sides.

The jade plate between them.

Silence.

Then—

They began.

No system.

No guidance.

Only understanding.

The patterns—

Complex.

Deep.

But slowly—

They made sense.

Breathing changed.

Body adjusted.

A faint sensation spread.

Skin.

Muscles.

Bones.

Refining.

Strengthening.

Minutes passed.

Then—

Both opened their eyes.

Something had changed.

Not visible.

But real.

Jade Skin.

Han Sen exhaled slowly.

"…this…"

Han Chandu stood up.

"…use it carefully."

Han Sen looked at him.

"…you knew."

A small pause.

"…enough."

No more.

Because too much—

Was dangerous.

Han Sen didn't push.

Instead—

He stood.

"…next time," he said.

"…don't just watch."

Han Chandu didn't respond.

Because that—

Would not change.

The armor formed again.

Black.

Silent.

Shadow.

Han Sen watched.

But didn't stop him.

Because he understood one thing now—

They were the same.

Yet completely different.

Han Chandu turned.

Walked away.

No sound.

No trace.

Han Sen remained.

Holding the jade plate.

Looking at the direction he left.

"…shadow…"

The word formed quietly.

Not confirmed.

But remembered.

The forest returned to stillness.

Because in this world—

Even moments like this—

Left no trace.

Only those involved—

Ever knew.

And both of them—

Had gained something.

Not from the system.

But from understanding.
