Chapter 6 - Ch.6 New Classroom

Kaito's eyes stayed on the fallen girls, still trembling slightly. He could barely process what had just happened.

Akari crouched slightly, then reached out and grabbed his hand firmly. Her grip was strong, confident — a silent warning and reassurance at the same time.

"Come on," she said, her voice calm but cold. "We're leaving."

Kaito hesitated for a moment, glancing back at the girls still groaning on the ground, their pride shattered and fear written across their faces. Then he let himself be pulled along.

As they walked away, the fallen delinquents watched them go, nursing their bruises and bloodied arms, muttering curses and groans under their breath.

Kaito's hand felt warm in Akari's. Even though she hadn't used her full power, he couldn't deny the sheer force and precision she wielded — and it scared him just enough to make him stay close.

"Y-you really didn't have to go that hard on them," Kaito said quietly, his voice still nervous as he kept pace with her.

Akari glanced at him briefly, a faint smirk on her face.

"They touched you," she repeated simply, tightening her grip slightly.

Kaito swallowed, a mix of awe and fear running through him. He realized, more than ever, that even holding back, his sister was someone no one wanted to provoke.

Together, they walked on, leaving the defeated girls behind, their whispers of terror fading with every step.

After a few minutes of walking, Akari and Kaito finally reached the school gates.

Students were streaming in, chatting, laughing all women most guys were Silent heading with their friends, The morning air was filled with the usual energy of the first day of the semester.

Akari slowed as they reached the school entrance. She released Kaito's hand, giving him a sharp, approving look.

"Stay out of trouble," she said coolly, then turned and walked back, leaving him at the gates.

Kaito watched her go for a moment, still a little shaken, before shaking his head and stepping forward toward the school.

Just then, a familiar figure slung an arm over Kaito's shoulders with a grin.

"Hey, dude! Long time no see," his friend said, leaning casually against him.

His name was Ryota, an above-average looking guy with short brown hair and sharp brown eyes. Not strikingly handsome, but his confident smile and easygoing presence made him noticeable.

Kaito blinked, a small smile forming. "Hey… it's been a while."

Ryota chuckled. "So… looks like you survived the walk. You holding up okay?"

Kaito shrugged lightly, still feeling the residual tension from the encounter with Akari. "Yeah… I'm fine."

Ryota smirked knowingly. "You're walking a little stiff. Something happen on the way in?"

Kaito shook his head, giving a small laugh to hide his unease. "Nothing important."

Kaito and Ryota walked side by side through the school grounds, the morning sun casting long shadows over the path.

"Most of the girls in our class must have awakened by now," Ryota said casually, glancing around at the students entering the school. "You know how this world is… once they hit the right age, their power kicks in."

Kaito nodded, recalling the morning's encounter with the delinquents. "Yeah… I've seen enough already."

Ryota smirked, leaning slightly closer. "Listen, we should keep a little distance from most girls, especially you, Kaito. You're handsome, strong… basically a walking target for attention. Some of them can get… aggressive."

Kaito raised an eyebrow, cutting him off. "Yeah, I know how they see me. Ever since I enrolled, some girls have been trying way too hard to get in my pants."

Ryota chuckled, shaking his head. "Fair enough. Still… lucky for you, you're walking with Akari Aizawa. Nobody dares to touch you when she's around

Kaito shook his head, feeling a mix of awe and lingering unease. "Yeah… I'm definitely not arguing with that."

The two of them continued walking toward their classroom, the chatter of awakened students and the hum of school life surrounding them, a reminder of the unpredictable and dangerous world they lived in.

As Kaito and Ryota walked, a soft glow appeared only visible to him.

[System Notification]

Daily 10 km Walk Completed ✅

Reward: 10 Mana Stones

A small chime accompanied the message. Kaito's eyes flicked down to the floating interface before him.

Mana Stones… useful. he thought. Each one can recharge 20 mana meter if I ever run out.

He tapped a stone mentally, imagining the energy flowing into him. The familiar surge of power made him grin slightly.

"Alright…" he muttered under his breath, slipping the stones into his storage inventory. These will come in handy later.

With his daily task complete and mana reserves secured, Kaito continued walking toward the school, feeling a little more prepared for whatever awaited him.

Kaito and Ryota pushed open the classroom door and stepped inside.

The room held 40 students in total — 30 girls and 10 boys. The girls dominated the classroom, chatting loudly, laughing, and moving with the kind of confidence that made it clear they owned the space.

But as soon as Kaito entered, a few of the girls looked up from their chatter, their eyes immediately drawn to him. Whispers spread quickly among them, and the energy in the room subtly shifted. Their attention wasn't friendly — there was curiosity, appraisal, and something more mischievous in the way they watched him.

The boys, on the other hand, had instinctively grouped themselves together in the back row along the sides, keeping a safe distance from the energetic girls up front. They leaned on their desks, trying to stay out of attention and avoid trouble.

Rows 1–3 were almost entirely filled with girls, talking, teasing each other, and giving quick glances toward Kaito. Rows 4–5 had a few girls mixed in, but the boys mostly stuck together at the very back.

Kaito and Ryota took their seats at the back, joining the small group of boys trying to stay out of the spotlight. Kaito could feel the girls' eyes on him, evaluating, whispering, and some even smirking.

The classroom was filled with the same students from last year — none of the faces had changed. The girls, now all second-years like Kaito, dominated the room as always, chatting loudly and laughing, clearly confident in their space.

Suddenly, a group of girls approached Kaito's desk, moving confidently through the rows with playful, daring grins.

One of them jumped onto the desk beside him, sitting casually on top, legs crossed, her sharp eyes flicking toward the boy sitting next to Kaito.

The boy immediately stood up, stammering, "Hey! Don't… uh, don't sit there!"

The girl leaned closer to him, her gaze cold and challenging, grabbing his collar lightly. "You really wanna get in my way?" she asked quietly, a dangerous edge to her voice.

The boy froze, unsure how to respond, while the other girls giggled softly, clearly enjoying the tension.

The girl's grip on the boy's collar tightened for a moment, then with a sharp tug, she yanked him forward, making him stumble and fall onto the floor, scrambling to get back up.

She straightened, brushing off her hands, and turned her full attention to Kaito, her dark eyes sharp and playful. Kaito had known her since first year — Shiba Akane, one of the most confident and daring girls in their class.

Akane had long, raven-black hair that framed her face perfectly, piercing dark eyes, and a rebellious aura that made her stand out immediately. Her school uniform was slightly untidy — her blazer draped casually off one shoulder, giving her a dangerous, effortless charm. Even after a year, her presence alone could make most boys freeze, and Kaito couldn't help but note how fearless she seemed.

The other girls giggled quietly behind her, whispering, but Akane's attention stayed entirely on Kaito, a faint smirk tugging at her lips.

Akane's dark eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned closer to Kaito, her smirk widening.

Even from first year, she had always been bold around him — teasing, flirting, and making it clear she wanted to get under Kaitos pants. Now, as a second-year, nothing had changed.

She tapped her foot lightly on the desk beside him, letting her gaze wander deliberately over him. "Still sitting at the back, huh? Trying to act all calm… but you know I've been watching you since first year," she teased, her voice low and playful, carrying that daring edge Kaito had learned to recognize.

Kaito felt a flicker of unease but kept his composure, not entirely unprepared for her antics. He had dealt with her teasing before, but the way she leaned closer now, her presence bold and audacious, was enough to make even him raise an eyebrow.

Kaito's eyes flicked toward Akane, taking in her confident stance and sharp gaze. She's clearly awakened now… he thought. Better be careful around her.

Even with all her teasing and playful smirks, there was a subtle dangerous edge to her presence, a power that hadn't been there before. Kaito straightened slightly, keeping his composure, knowing that one wrong move could easily put him at a disadvantage.

Akane, oblivious to his thoughts, continued leaning closer, her smirk widening, clearly enjoying the attention she was drawing — and the effect she was having on him.

This is going to be an interesting semester… Kaito mused silently, already calculating how to handle her boldness while keeping a safe distance.

Before Kaito could respond, Akane gripped his wrist firmly, her dark eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made him pause.

"Why don't you come with me after school?" she said, her voice low but sharp. "And don't say no. I don't like hearing no — you've always turned me down since first year… but not now."

Kaito instinctively tried to pull his wrist free, but her grip was unyielding, strong enough that he could feel the unmistakable strength behind it. She's definitely awakened now… he thought, a flicker of caution running through him.

Akane's smirk widened slightly as she noticed his hesitation. "Yeah, that's better. Don't even try to resist — you know I'm not someone you can just push away."

Kaito took a steadying breath, keeping his composure despite the clear warning in her tone. Alright… she's strong. I need to be careful.

Before Kaito could respond further, the classroom door opened sharply.

All chatter and whispers instantly quieted as a tall, composed woman stepped inside. Her presence carried authority — every student straightened immediately, including the bold girls around Kaito.

"Good morning, class," she said, her voice firm yet calm. "I'm your homeroom teacher for this semester. Please take your seats and settle down."

Akane finally released Kaito's wrist, sliding gracefully off the desk but keeping her sharp, amused gaze on him. Kaito flexed his wrist subtly, silently noting her strength once again.

The room fell into an orderly quiet, the tension lingering in the air. Kaito shifted slightly in his seat, eyes scanning the classroom, already aware that this semester was going to be far from ordinary.

This is just the beginning… he thought.
