Chapter 110 - Chapter 110 Milk

The robbers had eaten their fill, but they weren't quite done drinking. They were all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the milk.

This, of course, included the muscular man; this was the best dinner he'd had in all his years as a robber. He was now also craving that milk.

Before long, a bowl was placed in front of each person, and white milk was poured from the jug into the bowl on the table.

The muscular man picked up the bowl and took a sip of the milk in front of him. Hmm, it wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either; it was just right for quenching his thirst. He then downed the rest of the milk in one gulp. "Ah! That feels good!" he exclaimed, before leaning back on the long table to rest.

Seeing that their leader had drunk the milk, the others did not hesitate either. After finishing a bowl of white milk, they all comfortably leaned back on the long table to rest.

"Everyone, drink slowly, or you'll get diarrhea," Ed tried to remind them, but it was too late; everyone had already finished their milk in one gulp.

Does diarrhea have anything to do with how quickly you drink milk? Probably not. It only depends on the quality of the milk, so Ed's reminder was just for show.

But everyone was taken aback when they heard this.

How can such a saying still exist?

Huh?

It seems there really is.

Some people who aren't feeling well have already started to show symptoms, with their stomachs rumbling.

"Mr. Ed, is there anywhere convenient around here?" The fat man couldn't take it anymore and got up to run outside.

"Mr. Jie, I told you to drink slowly. That's not how you drink milk."

"What did you say?"

"I'm saying milk isn't drunk like this."

"How are we supposed to drink it?"

"One sentence, down it in one gulp."

The fat man gave Ed a strange look. "I asked where the restroom is?"

"Turn right after you leave the house."

Before long, the once bustling and noisy hall was nearly empty.

Everyone has already turned right after leaving the house.

"Mr. Ed, I don't know why they are all like this?" Carly asked, puzzled, before drinking her milk in one gulp.

"I don't know either. I'll go out and check. There might be a smell outside, so you shouldn't come out." Ed prepared to go out and see what was going on.

When we got outside, wow, a group of people were already squatting on the grass by the road, and some were lying on the road, looking completely exhausted.

Ed also saw the fat robber return from the bushes, lie down, and then rush back towards them, repeating this several times. Some people simply lay down in the bushes, not caring about the smell.

Ed watched for a while and felt it was about right.

"Andrew, go and tie that muscle man up here. Keep a close eye on the rest of you." Ed pointed to the muscle man in the bushes in the distance. Despite his good physique, he was exhausted and collapsed on the ground after being tortured like this.

The muscular man can only move his eyes now, and it's a bit of a stretch to get him to speak.

"Mr. robber, I am the person you are looking for, but now you have lost your chance to take revenge on me, and you are about to lose everything." Ed looked at the muscular man and the group of robbers lying on the ground.

The group was now helpless, their bodies limp, and they could only submit to their fate. They sat or lay dejectedly.

The muscular man had known he'd been tricked all along. He'd considered running away, but his body wouldn't obey him. His resentful gaze was his last act of defiance.

"However, I am a kind man. As long as you work for me for a year, you can stay or leave as you please, and you can all eat free food there. But you must work hard."

Hearing Ed's words, the others were somewhat tempted, after all, this place was not bad, but none of them dared to speak, and everyone looked at the muscular leader.

Ed glanced at everyone's reactions and realized he had to deal with the muscular man.

"You are now my prisoners. He is no longer your leader. I am your master now. If you are willing to work for me, raise your hand. If you are not, lock them all up."

Under Ed's carrot-and-stick approach, some of the bandits had already begun to defect and slowly started to raise their hands.

"Andrew, lock up all the ones who are unwilling. Put this muscle man in solitary confinement."
