"Sister Adelaide, is it really okay to put honey in this?" Carly thought the herbal tea was already delicious enough.
"Seriously, Carly, you can't imagine the taste of honey-infused flower tea until you've tried it." Adelaide was starting to miss the taste of honey flower tea again.
I can only blame myself for drinking too much earlier; the honey was all gone in no time. But it seems Carly is going to take a letter back, so I can ask her to have someone bring some over.
If Ed doesn't go looking for honey in the territory, Adelaide won't be able to get any.
"Is there any wine that's good?" Carly had never drunk wine; she had only heard that it was very delicious, while she had only ever drunk very bad ale.
"Wine? What is wine?" Adelaide didn't know either.
Haha, both of them are naive and haven't seen much of the world.
"Wine is made from grapes," Carly explained, though she wasn't sure if her explanation was correct.
"What are grapes?" Adelaide hasn't been out much, and doesn't even know what grapes are.
"I've heard that grapes are small purple fruits that are somewhat sweet." Carly had only heard about it, but it was already much better than Adelaide.
"It's sweet, so it should taste really good," Adelaide said with some anticipation.
The two girls chatted happily, and drank one glass of iced flower tea after another.
"Adelaide, this paper is really good for writing on. Did you make this too?" Carly picked up the paper on the table and looked at Adelaide.
"Yes, Carly, this was made by my master and me. This paper isn't just good for writing on!" Adelaide gave a mysterious smile.
"Ah! Sister Adelaide, is there any other use for this paper?" Carly picked up the paper and looked at it from left to right. No matter how she imagined it, she couldn't think of any other advanced use for this paper besides writing.
Adelaide now looks like an old gentleman wearing sunglasses, saying, "Miss, would you like your fortune told? No charge if it's inaccurate."
Carly's curiosity was instantly piqued by Adelaide's air of superiority.
"Sister Adelaide, please tell me!" Carly asked eagerly.
Adelaide was overjoyed to see Carly tugging at her clothes, eager to know the answer.
Actually, there are two types of paper now. One is the kind used for writing, which is finer and smoother. The other is softer, but not as good for writing. These are the improved versions by Ed.
Now only Ed and Adelaide have some in the entire territory, but Adelaide gave some to Sophia. Using the old cleaning methods after using paper is pure torture.
Carly suddenly felt a pang of stomach discomfort; had she drunk too much iced tea earlier? "Adelaide, where's the restroom?"
"Ah! Come over here with me." Adelaide led the somewhat impatient Carly out of the hall, though her current impatience might be a little different from her previous one.
A moment later
Carly leaned comfortably against the long table, feeling a combination of relief from her stomach pain and the comfort that came from using some mysterious item.
Nowadays, paper is incredibly useful for women.
"Sister Adelaide, this paper is so useful, it's a wonderful thing, I love it here."
Carly didn't want to leave.
"No problem, we can make cakes later, that's the most delicious thing in the world."
