Chapter 129 - Chapter 129 Bloodstained Valley

The weather was rather gloomy today, with a hazy mist enveloping the valley.

In a secluded spot in the valley, all the members of the Graycastle Guard had crept up and were looking down at the valley below.

"Shanshu, how is it? Have you explained everything clearly?" Andrew looked at Shanshu, who was holding his breath.

"Lord Andrew, everything has been explained. We only need to attack the guards; we don't need to worry about the miners. If any of them run away, we can just ignore them." Cedar trusted Elm to handle things well.

"Hmm, Eric, are you ready?" Andrew looked at Eric, who was aiming the divine bow.

"Lord Andrew, everything is fine. We can launch the attack at any time." Eric was very confident.

"Okay, wait until Eric finishes firing a volley of arrows, then you all come down with me. Once down there, first take control of the armed personnel, and ignore the others."

Andrew believed that after Eric fired a volley of arrows, there wouldn't be many people left. It was possible that Ares had taken some of them away, or perhaps the other side thought the place was safe, and the guards this time were obviously not as tight as last time.

"Attack!" With Andrew's command, the sound of arrows piercing the air filled the air.

"Follow me down into the valley!" Andrew shouted, and took the lead in heading down into the valley.

"Ah! Enemies! Quick, find somewhere to hide!" Chaos had broken out in the valley below; some people had already fallen, wounded by arrows. Blood stained the ground.

The guards who were not hit by arrows quickly took cover behind cover and drew their longswords.

Before they could even get their longswords in place, some guys wearing chainmail and carrying strange longswords charged down.

"Who are you? We are Lord Woxis's men. The Count's lands are vast, and his warriors are numerous. I hope you understand that. This is also the Count's land. Where did you come from? You'd better leave now, or the Count will raze your land to the ground."

The guard who was speaking was probably a minor leader; he was somewhat afraid. He only hoped that the other party had come out of ignorance rather than with premeditation, so that his words might still have some effect.

The other party neither spoke nor moved. Hmm? It seems they've heard of Lord Worsis; that makes things easier!

"Do you know you were wrong? You dare to rob Count Worsis's mine? Don't you think you're putting our Count in the highest regard...?"

Before he could finish speaking, a long sword thrust at him.

Andrew drew his longsword and wiped it clean. He watched as the minor leader slowly collapsed.

"He talks too much. Who knows any count? I don't care if he's Woxis or Wogans."

"Take care of all the guards," Andrew said to the people behind him.

A moment later

"Are you all willing to come with us?" Andrew asked, looking at the miners who were so thin they were unrecognizable.

"Yes, sir, we are all willing to follow you."

"Okay, move all the ore here to the lake over there, including all the white ore. Let's get started right now."

Next, the entire valley moved the ore towards the lake like ants carrying food.

Before long, the entire valley was empty.

Standing atop the mountain, Andrew looked down at the devastated valley below and said slowly:

"I will come back."
