"O Three Legged One."
"Lend me your purity."
"Guide me with your essence."
"To tidy the chaos in front of me."
Right after I chanted the incantation, white lights appears from my fingertips, touching the blood stains and enveloping it.
It lasts for 5 seconds, until the light shrinks and the blood disappear.
I sigh, such a good and useful spell.
Sonia is currently showering, cleaning those blood off her body and pondering her actions.
This incident is purely accidental.
As for the government... they are different from the one in my past life, so it's fine since Brother has enough money.
Speaking of him, maybe I should visit him, although the basement is quite dark and gloomy, he is still the sibling I need to protect.
But if I come over and order him to pay for Sonia.
Maybe I should ask, not order or he'd definitely get angry.
Like that one.
Right, that one seems a bit out of control, maybe I should put her in the confinement room, she lashed in front of Sonia, if I didn't take over, who knows what would happen.
...
Done, she'll ponder her actions there.
And hopefully realize that only I is real.
I go to the kitchen, to the metal trapdoor right beneath the counter, it smells pungent, probably because of its proximity to the stove.
Just beside it is a wheelchair, a big one used for older male.
I push the heavy trapdoor away while groaning. Rusts are covering the metal's body, making it making the friction more than what's intended, almost too heavy for me.
I slightly lift my skirt, connecting my feet with the cold ladder before slowly descending to the basement.
The basement's air is humid, and cold. Fortunately, my body is quite resistant to cold, probably because of those early years where we don't have a house.
As I step on to the floor, I noticed something weird.
The smell, this familiar smell.
A corpse.
Brother usually put the corpse in a sealed place.
In the long dark corridor of the basement, I stride forward, the lamps flicker occasionaly, the sound of my footsteps echo in the surrounding.
At the end of the path, there is a door, my brother's bedroom door.
A trail of blood seeps in from the gap below the door.
Then, the lamps go off.
I grip the door handle and push it.
Inside, where the chadelier light on. A large king-sized bed immediately greets my vision.
It's placed in the middle of the room, making me unable to not look at it.
On the bed, is my brother, sleeping peacefully with his legs and torso split apart.
I smiled at the scenery.
My feet move on its own, closer to him, the blood seeping fron his severed legs touched my bare soles.
I climb the bed, carefully avoiding the red part that's tainted in blood. From a closer perspective, only the legs are bleeding, while the torso is perfectly clean.
This is my brother.
I brush off his hair, letting me see his peaceful face, sleeping. His wrinkled appearance and disheveled hair make him look a bit older than his real age.
He's only 56 years old, after all.
"Brother, wake up," I whisper to his ear.
He doesn't wake up, and I already expect it since my family is filled with a bunch of slacker.
"Brother, Sonia needs your help..." I shake his shoulder.
His eyelids opened up, revealing the same red eyes as me and Sonia.
Still in a daze, his hand immediately lifted himself, a legless body is a light body. A powerful grip choke my neck, I stumble behind, and he pins me down.
In response, I only tilt my head and smile. "It's your sister Brother, not a thief or anyone else."
He widened his eyes, before squinting it again with an interrogative and suspicious expression, still pinning me with his legless body.
"What do you want?"
"Sonia needs your help, she accidentally killed someone."
"Accidentaly?" He asked.
"Yes, accidentally," I affirm.
He seems to be thinking about it a lot, why? If it's for his sister, he should do everything he could.
Finally, he let go of his grip and roll over to the opposite side of the bed.
"Do you still have the corpse?"
"Yes, it's in the trash bag."
"Good, I'll help her with a price."
I lay on the bed, slightly bored by the conversation, my hand finds a pillow to be hugged with while my legs bounces back and forth on the bed.
"What is it?"
He sighs at my action.
"The price is... the corpse's legs."
Hearing this, my face twists into a shocked expression, surprised by his demands.
"Brother, I thought you already has enough legs?"
"They're decaying, soon enough I'll be legless again."
Yes, this is logical. I know it.
But I can't do it. Sonia can't and shouldn't be the one who cut the legs, she's striving to be a normal human, something like that is not normal in any way.
As for me, I... I am repenting.
I'm not doing that again.
As if knowing my thoughts, he strides closer and put his hand on my shoulder.
It's warm.
"Don't worry, bring the body here and I'll cut it myself."
I breathe out in satisfaction but then I remember something. "Thanks Brother... but, how will you explain this to them?"
"Be assured, nothing will be a problem, I trust you, you trust your brother, right?" He smiles, his elderly face making him look far more reliable and intelligent.
Instantly, my heart melts. "Of course I trust you..."
Being acknowledged by my sibling, is one of the greatest pleasure in this world. This is why I am always steadfast at repenting.
So, I jump out of the bed, waving my hand to him excitedly, opening the door to the dark corridor.
This time, the lights are on.
But before I leave, he calls me once again.
"I have some questions, can you answer these for me?"
With a smile, I twirl and turn halfway, leaning on the edge of the door and putting my hand behind my back.
"I'll answer anything you ask."
The atmosphere become silent for a moment, as I gaze at his legless old body, he finally speaks.
"If so, then tell me, what is a king without its people?"
I smile.
"Only a worthless scum."
He nodded.
"Then, what is a human without its emotion?"
