Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Beginning of the Reveal

It was not an ordinary day at the airport.

Crowds had been lined up for hours

banners, cameras, phones raised high in the air…

voices blending into a chaotic mix of screams, laughter, and tension.

— "They're coming!"

— "XYZ! XYZ!"

Luxurious black cars pulled up at the private entrance.

In an instant… the noise exploded.

The doors opened.

Jeong Woo Jin stepped out first,

his usual innocent smile arriving before his footsteps,

waving lightly as if he were used to all this madness.

— "Woo Jin! Over here!"

— "Look at me!"

Cameras flashed endlessly.

He was followed by Lee Joon Ho,

his head slightly lowered, eyes darting quickly,

adjusting his clothes with visible focus…

trying to escape the tension in his own way.

Then came Choi Hyun Woo.

The leader.

Steady خطوات، a sharp gaze scanning the surroundings,

yet he didn't forget to offer the fans a faint… measured smile.

— "Leader! Leader!"

After him, Park Ji Hoon,

his bright face lighting up the place,

waving with greater enthusiasm, responding to every voice calling his name.

And finally…

Park Minsoo.

He didn't run.

He didn't wave much.

He walked in his usual calm,

headphones covering his ears,

his steps heavy… as if he were detached from all of this.

As if the noisy world around him… couldn't reach him.

The reporters pushed forward.

— "Minsoo! How do you feel about the announcement in Paris?!"

— "Is there a new collaboration?!"

Security quickly intervened,

trying to keep the path clear.

Microphones stretched out,

cameras got closer than they should.

— "Please step back!"

But the noise didn't stop.

After arriving in Paris, at a hotel overlooking the Eiffel Tower…

The city was lit like a painting.

From the wide hotel windows,

the tower shimmered in the night—tall, calm…

in stark contrast to the chaos they had left behind.

Inside the suite,

a comforting silence settled.

— "Finally…"

Ji Hoon muttered as he threw himself onto the couch.

But Minsoo…

stood by the window.

Watching.

His reflection on the glass looked strange for a second…

Then returned to normal.

The photoshoot.

The lights were intense

The cameras precise.

Every movement calculated.

Luxurious outfits.

Carefully designed jewelry.

— "Minsoo, look here."

He turned slowly.

Click… a perfect shot.

But his eyes… were not.

At the same time, in Korea – Bukhansan National Park

The silence was suffocating.

A young woman was running between the trees,

breathing heavily… as if she were escaping from something.

She suddenly stopped.

Something white lay on the ground.

A bag.

Stained with blood…

and strands of hair.

She approached slowly…

Then froze.

— "Oh my God…"

She stepped back quickly, pulled out her phone.

— "Police? Please… I think I found something."

Shortly after,

The first patrol arrived.

The area was immediately sealed off.

Warning tape stretched between the trees.

— "No one comes close."

Procedures began:

Police

Securing the site

Taking the girl's statement

Defining the search perimeter

Forensics

Photographing the bag and its exact location

Documenting every detail before touching anything

Wearing gloves and protective suits

The forensic pathologist conducted an initial assessment

of the contents

determining whether they were human remains

The bag was opened carefully.

Silence returned… heavier.

— "Clothes…"

But they weren't ordinary.

Elegant.

Neatly folded.

Yet…

covered in blood.

And with every fold…

something else.

— "Teeth…"

— "And nails…"

Quick glances were exchanged among the team.

— "Could this be linked to the previous case?"

Days earlier,

a mutilated body had been found in a garbage container in Seoul.

At the scene,

One of the officers stood watching silently.

Her eyes fixed on the clothes.

Something familiar…

She stepped forward.

— "Wait."

She quickly took out her phone.

Opened a saved clip.

An interview.

Rare.

She began comparing…

the fabric.

the details.

the design.

Then…

she froze.

— "This…"

One of the investigators approached.

— "What is it?"

She raised the phone, then looked at the clothes.

— "The same."

Silence.

— "These clothes… look exactly like the ones worn by the presenter Lee Woo Jin… in that interview."

At the investigation center – later

The evidence was transferred.

Comparisons began:

DNA analysis of the teeth and nails

Matching them with the remains of the previously found body

Contacting Lee Woo Jin's family for reference samples

Hours later…

A preliminary confirmation.

— "Positive match."

The silence this time…

was different.

Heavier.

Return to Korea

Days later…

The group returned.

But the airport was not the same.

Screens everywhere.

Phones in people's hands.

Headlines repeating:

— "Body of famous presenter Lee Woo Jin found"

— "Horrific crime shocks public opinion"

— "Police searching for the killer"

This time, the fans…

weren't just screaming.

They were talking.

Afraid.

Questioning.

Minsoo walked past them.

In his usual calm.

But…

this time,

even he…

He felt a strong sense of curiosity, for only a few days ago he had met the victim in an interview. He slowly lifted his gaze around him, seeing fans surrounding them like endless circles.

Inside, he looked at his life with silent contempt… as if everything he had built was collapsing before his eyes. Nothing remained as it once was, as though fate never stopped toying with him, reshaping his destiny each time in a more merciless way.
