Adam was a knight working under the ruler of the Purge kingdom in the nation of Fungi, his life revolved around protecting the king and keeping the royal family safe from harm's way. Captain of the first division.
The king had called on his presence, he was given a task that could only be done by his squad including himself. Rejecting, was never his answer, his pride rest on the title of the "keeper." He gracefully went all ears on the king's request.
"Captain Adam of the first division, l hereby assign you on Oliver mountain, retrieve my family's stolen treasure and be rewarded abundantly." The king said, tapping his sword on Adam's shoulder.
"I shall humbly accept your request, getting the treasure will be an easy feat." He replied, sounding sincere.
The treasure of the royal family was kept inside a golden box designed with jewellery. He heard, feeling confident he would find it without fail.
Adam nodded with a smile, gracefully leaving the kingdom with his squad. He took off riding his white horse, arriving at Oliver mountain with swift speed.
High tower was located at a snowy region, the mountain had been quite steep, not only that, the temperature had significantly dropped. One of the Knight's hand glowed brightly coloured of yellow, he touched all the members around. This caused their body temperature to heat up so as to avoid the freezing temperatures.
The journey was long, Adam didn't lose his composure, his face signalling of hope and ray of light. The Knights feeling a sense of relief seeing the captain smiling, they continued to press on the snowy mountain. They arrived at the centre of the mountain encountering wild bandits camping by a cave, they quickly noticed the knights and went in battle stance. Adam raised his right hand, signalling the Knights to withdraw their swords. They were ten bandits, holding out daggers and rusty metal swords.
Adam slowly slid out his long sword from its scabbard, pointing its tip directly at the bandits in front, the bandits started bursting out in laughter. Moments later, Adam appeared behind them in a blink of an eye, without sound. Feeling a sharp pain on their head, it dropped on the ground.
It was like a training practise to him, not much effort needed to entertain the mountain bandits, he pulled back his sword and continued marching forward. He arrived at the peak of the mountain where he caught a glance of a stone structure with multiple guards around the gate.
His body glowed in yellow light, dashing passed the guards without being noticed, entering inside the stone structure. He wasn't alone, the other Knights followed him by using the same technique. Inside the structure, resided even more guards, it was starting to become a problem, those guards were equipped with heavy gear and spilling of aura around the structure, Adam felt the tension.
Adam shield his aura from being detected, and instructed the others to do the same. They followed the order and erased their aura detection, one knight failed and was immediately noticed by a guard that happen to be passing by―he was then impaled to death by the guard wearing a black cloak. Adam's heart struck, before the guard could notice him after his fallen comrade, he went in hiding. It was the only logical move, but, that meant the guards would go full throttle.
The black cloaked guard spoke loudly to other guards in the area, Adam was worried about the plan going downhill, his best friend, Claw, calmed his nerves. Nodding in relief, Adam's body glowed in yellow light again, and zig zagged at the place. The black cloaked guard noticed him dashing around, the eyes of a predator wouldn't leave his prey go by, he followed Adam.
Claw decided on a dangerous tactic, he jumped out of hiding and tackled the black cloaked guard allowing Adam to roam without being troubled. Adam didn't notice the sacrifice as he was busy dodging other guards upwards of the structure, and reached the top swarmed with more guards in the path.
"You insects annoy me! Get lost..." He said, loosening his blade from its worn scabbard.
The battle was intense, movement of swords were displayed, the ground begun crumbling. Adam swung his sword creating an invisible slash that cut through his path, his body had been badly injured from the dance of swords, he knew his limits were at arms length. Slowly marching at a sealed door, his sword imbued with aura slashed the door in half, opening up a room of gold. Adam was worried about his friends in the bottom, but getting the royal family's treasure was something to keep in mind, it was even more important than his own life.
Meanwhile, below the structure, Claw clashed with the back cloaked guard fiercely, the Knights had lost a tremendous number of man remaining only those of ten. When they first came inside, their total number were twenty-five. They were really outnumbered, Claw watched the area with an embarrassed look as his only hope of surviving was through Adam's effort in retaking the treasure.
Facing Adam's side, he searched the entire room until he found the royal family's treasure, feeling a bit excited, he retrieved the goods and dashed out of the room. For some reason, his brain wasn't in the right state, while descending, he began feeling disgusted. Adam didn't want to return back the treasure, it was like he got what he wanted.
He reached the exit, it didn't take a while to find an easy route to exit. Facing north, he dashed forward. He knew very well what he was doing, it was something he thought of for a while. Anyway, as he kept on running, he arrived at a town he wasn't familiar with, hence, it became his new home.
Reports didn't waste time, the king of the Purge kingdom was informed of Adam's betrayal. Feeling in rage, he set a bounty. Ordering an international wanted list, he lost what was his.

Its been seven months since Adam stayed at Little town, a place peaceful as the heavens, he adopted the culture of peace.
He wanted to find a new job to support himself, the towns hall was packed with people searching available job, Adam couldn't decide which would best suit him. Something to avoid catching unwanted attention, which meant his life was going to be a living hell.
There was an available job he spotted, "Jackhammer" a place specialising in cutting down trees and making products. He was fit for the job, so he accepted the offer. He worked for long hours, the pay was good, working enough to save and retire.
One day, during lunchtime, he met a beautiful blonde lady sitting by herself on the side of the forest. Her beauty caught his attention, he wanted to speak, yet avoid unnecessary drama. The lady noticed and waved at him, feeling speechless, he directly approached her.
Time-to-time after lunch, he spent his moments with the lady, they both seemed to share something in common. He wanted her as his wife, someone to stay with till death.
A year had gone by, Adam married Aisha. They decided to relocate from little town to a place from the country, they found a place at leaf where they started their marriage life. Adam changed his job again, working as a teacher in a nearby school. His life took a peaceful turn.
After a couple of years, Adam got a son. Wanting to stay by his side and support him, he was a proud father after seeing how strong and healthy his son was. The child would often sneak around the house when someone their eyes of him, Adam would always find him upstairs staring at the ceiling, at times mumbling something he couldn't understand. Sometimes, the kid would keep staring at mirror, which freaked him out.
The boy's name was Arthur.

There were times when Adam would pick up Arthur, but his expression would always seem like he's annoyed, it wasn't normal for a baby to do that, even he knew that much. Arthur would sometimes scream at him when he tries playing pick-a-boo, it wasn't a scream of fright but irritation.
Arthur was a different breed, when Adam and Aisha talked about naughty stuff, Arthur gave of a weird expression, his eyes widening with a scrunched face. At his age, he shouldn't understand what his parents were talking about.
That wasn't a normal baby, he thought.
He was heard of a story that spoke about possessed babies hunted by the lustful witch, it was a fictional story told by the nearby households. Adam wasn't a fan of ghosts so he completely ignored it. For some reason, Arthur's behaviour hadn't changed, one time he heard him arguing with someone inside his room.
Not using real words...
Adam came in to check the commotion and found Arthur yelling at the wall, it was hilarious, even he couldn't hold his laughter. As Arthur would notice his presence, the face of happiness would instantly fade away.
Maybe Adam was the problem.
Arthur was always attracted at the golden box designed with jewellery, so Adam opened it, taking out a book from inside and handing it over to him. It wasn't like Arthur could read, so he just gave him to play with.
The book was heavy, Arthur could only push out of the room, and headed to his room shutting the door. That was strange, especially from a kid that's only 6 months old.
Time had passed until he finally accepted Arthur's weird behaviour, it was hard to cope, but overreacting wasn't his strong.
A year later, while Adam was fixing the roof, he heard a loud bang coming from the inside. Rushing inside the house he found Arthur lying on ground with a sweaty body.
"W... what!?"
