Chapter 113 - “God” wasn’t a name—

"Right, right, Captain! That's actually very possible."

Streusen immediately agreed.

"Then during our future voyages, if we encounter someone called God, we can just kill him directly. That way, this future ruler of the world will be strangled in the cradle before he can rise."

Golden Lion grinned as he proposed the idea.

"Not bad. Shiki's right."

Rocks nodded in approval.

Everyone began throwing out suggestions one after another.

In just a few short minutes, the so-called "God" had already suffered dozens of hypothetical deaths.

Unfortunately for them…

They had misunderstood completely.

"God" wasn't a name—

It was a title.

Only Whitebeard stood silently to the side, holding his naginata as though deep in thought.

"Alright, let's continue sailing."

Rocks gave the order.

"Captain Rocks, aren't we going to do more fortune-telling?"

Golden Lion looked puzzled.

He had gone through so much effort to find Shyarly, only for Rocks to ask two meaningless questions before leaving.

"Sometimes, relying too much on fortune-telling can affect my judgment."

As Rocks said this, he had already started walking away.

"We're not killing these people?"

Charlotte Linlin followed behind Rocks and asked.

"There's no need to waste more time here. Time is precious. Poseidon hasn't been born yet, but the other Ancient Weapon… that's not necessarily the case. As long as we obtain even one of them, we'll gain the power to destroy the world."

Rocks spoke calmly.

At present, he had already obtained clues regarding the location of a Poneglyph connected to Uranus.

Now he was rushing there to confirm it personally.

If the information about Uranus turned out to be the same as Poseidon—

Then Rocks would truly fall into complete despair.

One pirate after another followed behind Rocks as they prepared to leave Fish-Man Island.

Meanwhile, after watching Rocks and the others gradually disappear into the distance, Whitebeard stepped over to the spot where Rocks had been standing moments earlier and looked directly at Shyarly.

"Will Rocks achieve his goal in God Valley?"

"I-I… I'll do the divination right away."

Hearing Whitebeard's question, Shyarly nervously swallowed hard and immediately began fortune-telling without daring to delay.

As the crystal ball glowed, her expression suddenly changed.

Startled, she subconsciously stumbled backward, lost her balance, and fell onto the ground.

"Will he succeed?" Whitebeard asked again.

"He… he will…"

Shyarly inhaled sharply and forced herself to answer calmly.

Whitebeard seemed to notice something.

A meaningful smile appeared on his face, but he didn't say anything further.

Instead, he simply gripped his naginata and jogged after the others.

The moment Rocks and his crew disappeared completely, Shyarly burst into tears.

"Shyarly, don't be afraid. They're gone now."

Neptune walked over, helped her up, and comforted her gently.

Neptune, the king of the Ryugu Kingdom on Fish-Man Island, was an excellent ruler—brave, responsible, and deeply loved by his people.

"That's right, Shyarly. Don't be scared. Those bad people are gone now," another fish-man nearby added reassuringly.

"I lied… That man with the white beard seemed like he noticed."

Shyarly hurriedly explained through her tears.

"Lied?"

The surrounding fish-men froze in shock.

"Rocks' trip to God Valley… will be the final destination of his voyage. In other words, he'll die there."

"I thought… even if I said he would succeed, he wouldn't be able to come back and trouble us afterward anyway…"

"But now…"

Before she could finish, she choked up again as tears streamed down endlessly.

"Alright, alright. Shyarly, why don't you just do a divination for Fish-Man Island itself?" Neptune suddenly suggested.

His words immediately woke her from her panic.

Shyarly quickly broke free from Neptune's grasp, landed back onto the ground, and hurriedly began another divination.

The very next second, she cried even harder.

At that moment, she secretly made up her mind—

She would never perform fortune-telling again.

"What happened? Don't tell me…"

Neptune stared at her anxiously, an ominous feeling rising in his heart.

"Fish-Man Island… will be destroyed."

The moment those words were spoken, Neptune's expression changed drastically.

Originally, he had only wanted to comfort Shyarly.

Yet somehow, they had ended up uncovering an even more catastrophic prophecy.

If he weren't the king, he probably would've wanted to vent his own frustration right then and there.

Fortunately, there weren't many fish-men nearby.

Everyone present was someone he trusted deeply.

"Regarding Shyarly's prophecy, absolutely no one is allowed to spread this information," Neptune instructed gravely.

"Understood!"
