Chapter 18 -  The Strongest! I, Uchiha Akira!

The moment Akira made up his mind—

His gaze turned cold.

Just moments ago, he had said those fleeing enemies weren't worth his effort.

And yet—

He vanished on the spot with his advanced Body Flicker.

If weeds are not uprooted, they grow again.

The highest form of peace…

Is peace forged through war.

Only by making the Hidden Mist truly feel pain—

By cutting down as much of their strength as possible—

Would those behind the war understand the cost.

Only then—

Would the daimyo and Kage sit down for real negotiations.

Very quickly—

Akira caught up to the fleeing enemies.

And effortlessly eliminated them.

Meanwhile—

The other Uchiha were still chasing their targets, locked in drawn-out skirmishes.

When they saw Akira strike again—

And wipe out enemies with such ease—

Their expressions changed.

"Uchiha Akira… isn't he a descendant of Uchiha Zhenshan?"

"The one they call the 'Strongest Three-Tomoe'?"

"Ah… that title was sarcasm."

"The only Uchiha Genin who claimed to have three tomoe…"

"Didn't expect his descendant to be this strong."

"Especially that Body Flicker… it's already at Shisui's level, isn't it?"

"Shisui the Body Flicker… yeah, it really is!"

Their voices carried clearly.

Akira ignored them all.

His ancestor—

Uchiha Zhenshan.

The so-called "Strongest Three-Tomoe."

But in truth—

It was mockery.

He had only ever awakened a single tomoe.

And remained a Genin his entire life.

Out of pride—

He lied.

Claimed he had three tomoe.

In a clan as proud as the Uchiha—

That became a mark of shame.

Thus, the nickname.

A descendant of someone like that—

Was naturally looked down upon.

That was the clan's consensus.

So their reactions now—

Made perfect sense.

But—

"From now on… you'll look at me differently."

"The descendant of the 'Strongest Three-Tomoe' is gone."

"I am Uchiha Akira."

He made the vow silently.

Then—

He let go of those meaningless thoughts.

With a leap—

He landed beside Uchiha Tekka.

Tekka had just finished off two Mist Chunin who chose to fight instead of flee.

"So your strength is really at this level…"

Tekka said, giving him a long look.

"Now I believe it—you really did repel the Seven Ninja Swordsmen."

Inabi landed nearby.

Gone was his earlier disdain.

In his eyes—

There was even a trace of admiration.

Even within the Uchiha—

Strength ruled.

Akira didn't respond.

He remained calm.

As if all of this—

Was only natural.

"Since we've already started killing…"

"Let's finish it today."

"There are more enemies in that direction."

He pointed toward the forest ahead.

His perception had already locked onto another group—

Several kilometers away.

The moment he spoke—

He moved.

Seeing this—

Tekka and Inabi exchanged glances.

"…He can sense enemies?"

Tekka muttered.

Inabi closed his eyes, concentrating—

Then shook his head.

"I don't sense anything."

They were both true Uchiha Jonin.

Three-tomoe Sharingan users.

If even they couldn't detect anything—

Then only two possibilities remained.

Either Akira was wrong—

Or—

His perception surpassed theirs.

"…Let's follow."

Tekka moved.

Inabi signaled the others.

The result—

Spoke for itself.

Three and a half kilometers away—

They found another Mist squad.

And the first to reach them—

Was Akira.

Without a word—

Battle erupted.

On the way here—

Akira had already overheard their conversation.

This group—

Was inexperienced.

Their Jonin leader had already left to reinforce another battlefield.

Leaving them behind.

And now—

They faced Akira alone.

The outcome—

Was inevitable.

By the time the other Uchiha arrived—

Only destruction remained.

A scorched area spanning over 1,500 square meters—

Still burning.

Charred trees crackled.

And within it—

More than twenty Mist ninja lay dead.

Completely burned.

Seeing this—

The surrounding Uchiha fell silent.

"He… wiped them out alone?"

"Just like before… too strong."

"Looks like our clan has produced another genius."

"The battlefield really does forge monsters…"

"I saw him use the Sharingan earlier… when did he awaken it?"

The murmurs spread.

Tekka heard them—

And froze.

"…He awakened the Sharingan?"

He stared at Akira's back—

His eyes filled with shock.
