The minutes went really slow, the bright orange colored sun light colored the walls. Orpheus is looking out the window.
"Why is it sooooo broring"
He looked at his deskmate and he saw him playing with his pens.
"How can he do this for hours"
He slightly looked at the board , the teacher write another fucking math problem. He made a little grimace then he closed his eyes.
He listened to the teacher yapping about dividing stuffs , he listened to the little noises made by the tired bees . He slowly fell asleep.
He wake up at the sound of something scrubing . It was the cleaner sweeping up the classroom.
"Mhh excuse me , what time it is "
He asked.
"The cleaner looked at him with a tired grim.
"Its almost 4pm , i can finally go home"
He looked like a tired dog crawling to his bed.
Orpheus made a quick thinking then he panicked.
"Fuck fuck fuck im so fucked Im going to be late "
He picked up his bag and he stormed out of the classroom.
He run down the hallway , the school was silent , everybody went home and nobody woke him up.
He run through the cafeteria and down to the port . The gate keeper looked at him with suprise . He just ignored him and run out of school . He was just fast enough so he can see his bus start the engine and drive away.
He stopped and grabbed his head .
He started hiting his own head. It was another panick attack , he had these after his parents broke up. The hits became more and more powerful until somebody grabbed his hand.
It was the girl from the morning , what was her name something like Eurydise no no it was Eurydice.
"Hey stop hiting yourself , you will end up in the hospital if you continue"
He slowly put down his hands and looked at her.
"Eurydice right ? Sorry for having you see this"
"No problem at all Orpheus , that was your name right ? Its a very nice name"
His heart narrowed , his mother gave him this name , his mother ,the mother who died . And he shouted at her and called her a worthless bitch . He felt the tear in his eyes so he turned away.
"Thank you for your help , but please can you forget this whole thing"
Eurydice wanted to say something but Orpheus ran away .
"Im so stupid "
He thought and he felt the tears going down his cheeks .
It took two hours to walk home . It was the last bus that he saw at the school.
He did this tour once when the bus broke down . He got lost so bad then that he almost called the police. He still remembers the black night sky , he felt the dark crawling up to him.
He opens the door and he walks in.
There is not a single shoe on the floor . His dad will work late today too. He looked at the clock it was 10pm it was not only two hours to get home it took a lot kore because he got lost again , but he tried to forget that .
He thought back to the girl stopping his hands . He touched his hands where Eurydice touched it . He blushed then he quickly washed away these thoughts.
He was tired . He didn't even bothered himself with making dinner , he just walked into his room and fall into his bed.
His clock wake him up. It was too late to go to school and he didn't have any courage so he just stayed home.
He didn't have any friends so nobody will miss him anyway. He took out the trash when he noticed that there is a new neighbour. He did not give a fuck. Orpheus played games all day and watched his favorite shows. It was like 3 pm when he heard that somebody is trying to open the door . He stand up and went to the door. It mist be his dad . But when he opened the door it was Eurydice.
They stared at each other for a sec then asked the same question at the same time :
"You?"
They stared at each other for another second then she broke the silenc.
"You live here?"
"I wanted to ask the same question"
"I juts move in next door"
So thats why she transfered to my school. Orpheus thought for a second then he stepped out to the hallway
" This is our apartman yours is nextdoor then"
"Oh thank you for your help ,do you want to visit us , you are the only person who I know and I want to know you better"
Her smile was beatiful , it was like the…. Oh wait I already said this so never mind.
"If its not a problem for you then I gladly accept it"
